It is a typical village trattoria. Entrance with elderly people speaking dialect, village bar with television and bar service. Then the restaurant opens, wonderfully simple with paper tablecloths but with impeccable service. And at that point comes an apotheosis of casoncelli handmade in various ways, appetizers of artisanal cured meats, mushrooms in oil, a meat fillet that seems to be thrown away. And to finish, a light and fragrant tart-type sbrisolona cake. In short... it won't be a coincidence if there are also photos of chef barbers on the wall....

The number one of the casoncelli in Brescia. Old trattoria from the past with tables in front of the bar counter and two other rooms. Very friendly and competent staff. Had a fixed menu lunch with the legendary casoncelli di Barbariga of two types: meat and herbs seasoned with melted butter and sage......a delight. The appetizer with mixed cured meats accompanied by mushrooms in oil, giardiniera and peppers in oil was also very good. The house wine Montenetto di Capriolo al Colle is very good. More than affordable price. We were unable to eat either the second course or the dessert. Highly recommended. P.S.: my little dog was welcomed with great enthusiasm.
