For me, these 5 stars you give are not enough... everything here is fantastic, the place is small, but welcoming and typical, the cuisine is simply fantastic, the service is exceptional, what can I say? I was there on Thursday for lunch... and I repeat that it is one of the places where I have eaten best in my almost 60 years of life. I ate the ravioli al vino... fabulous, the risotto with barbera and radicchio (I may have got the wine wrong...) was something sublime... and also the minetrone and the meat... honestly... it deserves some Michelin stars!

If you're in the Gavi area, be sure to book a delicious lunch at this traditional and welcoming restaurant. In a charming atmosphere, you'll find very friendly staff and excellent food! Delicious ravioli, and, for example, the crispy octopus with pistachios and licorice is a must-try. The meat melts in your mouth, and the desserts are delicious. We're so happy with this discovery, located in the heart of Gavi, just steps from the main church.

We ate at Tommaso's this evening and I can only say we had a wonderful time! My girlfriend is vegan, and we called ahead to ask if he could do something specific, and he immediately came up with creative and delicious solutions. I had raw cod, with melon treated with melon liqueur and crunchy prosciutto chips contrasting with the soft texture of the prosciutto—a truly top-notch dish! She had spaghetti alla norma with a delicious sauce, and—a very pleasant surprise—watermelon carpaccio cooked in a gin reduction and fresh porcini mushrooms for the main course. The gnocchi with Genoese pesto, zucchini, and lupini clams were excellent. Everything was very creative, and each dish was extremely balanced! Definitely worth trying, a different and creative cuisine compared to the usual places :) and vegan-friendly!

Excellent dishes, with attention to ingredients and presentation.
Perhaps the place deserves a little more attention.

The meat tartare was 10/10, and the pasta with rabbit ragù was unique and very good. The fried octopus was good, though not as good as the other dishes, but I'd never tried it in this format, so I can't really give a proper assessment. The service was quick, lively, and very friendly, as well as professional, despite the restaurant's simple atmosphere. We'd been before and were happy to return; our previous impressions were absolutely confirmed.
