The place is always full and, without a reservation, it is difficult to find a seat. The food is pleasant and the menu allows a decent choice. The service is quick and precise. The bill is super honest.

Una serata con mia moglie e una mia amica. L'ambiente ti fa sentire a casa come nelle tipiche trattorie. Mangiare vegano e vegetariano in Piemonte non è mai facile ma in questo caso lo chef si è fatto in 4 per chi tra di noi ha esigenze tali. E ne sono usciti piatti semplici ma buonissimi. Per il resto i piatti tipici erano buonissimi. Dopo due antipasto con panissa fritta e insalata russa divisi in 3 e tortelloni in brodo ero sazio, ma sentito il profumo dai piatti che passavano ho voluto provare la guancia di maiale col purè. Buoni anche i dolci!

Grande qualità e gentilezza . Menù alla carta di ampia scelta, vini selezionati di livello superiore, ambiente famigliare , prezzi al di sotto della media di una pizzeria. PROVARE!!!

Old tavern in the center of Gavi, good quality local cuisine at fair prices, ideal for a lunch break perhaps after shopping at the Seravalle Designer Outlet which is about 8km away. (also open on Sunday for lunch) The environment is rustic with few tables so I recommend booking in advance.

Just had lunch with friends, really excellent quality of food, impeccable cuisine, service not very fast but equally excellent.... Small place and a little noisy, but it's still a trattoria so a good overall positive rating..

Go on Saturday and enjoy the special "Gianduia in the cup", we tasted it in the morning and returned in the afternoon for an encore!!!! 11/02/2025: An exceptional pastry shop! I am now a regular customer and every time it is a pleasure to treat yourself to a pampering at Mezzaro. The variety for breakfast is wide, with very high quality products that always surprise. I have relied on them several times to make cakes for special occasions, and they have always managed to meet my expectations with impeccable results. The highly competent pastry chef knows how to perfectly combine the quality of his products with refined aesthetics. Also, what about the bar service!!! All the awards they have won are well deserved. A place that always manages to offer a unique taste experience!
