I go to Il Voltone mainly for the quality of the meat. I have never tasted other dishes. My favorite is the fillet covered with Largo di Colonnata. The grill is also very good and has a good quality/price ratio

Warm and welcoming place, ideal for dinners for two or lunches with colleagues. Traditional cuisine and friendliness. I recommend it.

A beautiful traditional trattoria, family atmosphere and well prepared and very tasty food. I recommend a visit to eat really good and well prepared food, the price is average for the area. I recommend booking during the high season, because the place is almost always full.

Io e il mio compagno siamo stati a cena questa sera presso la trattoria il Voltone. Che dire, esperienza ottima. Ampia varietà di primi (buonissimi i ravioli), secondi per tutti i gusti e dolci fantastici. Porzioni giganti e prezzo più che onesto per quantità e qualità. Nota di merito a tutto il personale, camerieri e titolare. La cura del cliente si avverte appena ti siedi a tavola. Complimenti!

Abbiamo mangiato molto bene e pagato il giusto prendendo antipasto di gnocco, tris di primi, tagliate e dolci! Soddisfatta anche per l’attenzione al cliente!

22/02/2025: Whatever occasion you have for work or pleasure, this restaurant is just the pleasure. Menu already full of choice to which a very kind waiter gave indications of other options for the day, so much so that we immediately thought about returning as soon as possible. In addition to traditional Modenese dishes, there are also American-inspired dishes regarding meat. Widely satisfactory wine list. And they tell me that in good weather it's even better.......
21/02/2025: Valentine's Day dinner, place decorated for the occasion, nice atmosphere, good food, it was a nice evening. I don't give more than 3 stars because I didn't appreciate that the Valentine's Day menu was added to the book without the relative prices, therefore for two fillets with side dish, water and a bottle of normal labrusco without even the coffees at the surprise checkout of 110 euros (10 euros cover only). It seemed a little unclear to me not to include the price list on the menu (and it is also sanctioned with a fine of 305 euros by law). I hope it can be useful for improvement.
