I celebrated my birthday at Trattoria Visconti where, as always, it is pleasant to return to a friendly atmosphere and a beautiful location, the professionalism of the staff and the courtesy of the owners, the cellar with a wide choice and good food, from risotto to trout, the caponata with meatballs, the tastings of cheeses (the ancient stracchino is delicious) and the desserts, a more than successful anniversary (it's a shame that it's been too many years).

Fantastic evening at Trattoria Visconti. Waiters were very friendly, and the food was really good. Nice feature was the plate naming the dish - the local favorite casoncelli. Place was full when we left, so a really popular place for the locals. Can really recommend the place.

Trattoria Visconti is located in the heart of the town of Ambivere in the province of Bergamo. The place is very well looked after both inside and outside. Customer care is their priority. Excellent food, and a truly complete wine list. The internal car park has few spaces for the capacity of the venue, but there is plenty of free parking on site.
I go there often... To go in particular periods of the year it is better to book well in advance.
Absolutely recommended
Update: to date I have returned to this restaurant several times, and nothing has changed, in fact in my opinion they have improved everything from the dishes to the wine list, and the attention to the customer is superb.

Food faithful to tradition, elegant surroundings that also make you feel at home.
Excellent service, highly trained and very discreet waiters. An important plus is the possibility of consulting the well-stocked cellar online a few days before, which covers the entire world of wine, including old vintages.

Un'oasi di pace in cui buona tavola e servizio attento completano l'offerta. Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo provato ieri, per la prima volta, questa trattoria e sicuramente non sarà l'ultima. Tavoli spaziosi e correttamente distanziati, spazio esterno curato e silenzioso. Menù breve, con prodotti di stagione e del territorio. Piatti presentati bene e gustosi. Servizio attento, discreto ma non distante. Lista vini molto ampia e con rincari onesti. Conto adeguato. Veramente piacevole.
