A small, intimate, and welcoming restaurant near the Enzo Ferrari Museum. The menu is typically Emilian, with traditional, homemade, and authentic flavors. We had gnocco fritto and culatello, lasagna Bolognese, tagliatelle with ragù, and gnocchi with pancetta, walnuts, and balsamic vinegar. Everything was excellent, though the lasagna was perhaps a little dry, but that's purely personal opinion, as the flavor was excellent. Prices are moderate, fair, and the portions are generous. Overall, a good trattoria/osteria-style experience.

Beautiful little place about a 10-minute walk from the center of Modena, near the Enzo Ferrari museum.
Excellent value for money. The gnocco fritto with mortadella is highly recommended.

I highly recommend it! I had the lambrusco and mascarpone risotto and a beef fillet with balsamic vinegar – pure bliss. The meat, cooked to my liking, was tender and delicious.

Really liked the pasta and the waiter was so kind to provide a bigger table since we didn’t have a reservation. The food was really good and I highly recommend this restaurant.

A traditional Modenese trattoria. I was personally satisfied with my experience: the calzagatti appetizer, sausage and stracchino crostini, and roasted meat and potatoes were the main course. My companions, however, were less satisfied. The tortellini were very undercooked and not particularly noteworthy (thick pasta and a bland filling). Everyone agreed that the desserts were expertly made. Prices are a bit above average.
It could be a good starting point for exploring the city.

We had dinner here during a weekend in Modena. It's a quiet and welcoming place.
The appetizers included cured meats and cheeses, tigelle, fried gnocco, cod fritters, and crostini with sausage and stracchino cheese. They were truly delicious.
We opted for a series of traditional first courses: tortellini in broth, risotto with Lambrusco and mascarpone, tagliatelle with ragù...all delicious, but the gnocchi with pancetta, walnuts, rosemary, and balsamic vinegar reduction were a real treat.
The desserts were also very good: the chocolate cake with mascarpone cream was superb, the black cherry tart was good, but the crème brûlée was a bit less so.
I recommend it!!
