Arrived at the restaurant by chance, excellent first and second courses, good prices and friendly and helpful staff, to be recommended! We will be back for sure

We had lunch in this place during a trip to Mantua. The place is very welcoming and clean, we ate an appetizer of salami and bacon with toasted polenta and aubergine millefeuille with crispy bacon; as first courses, bigoli with cheese and pepper, riso alla pilota, maccheroncini with cherry tomatoes, bacon and smoked ricotta. The portions were so generous as well as exceptional that I couldn't take a second course. The non-greasy fries were also excellent (which is not to be taken for granted). Finally, with the coffee they brought us some sbrisolona biscuits which probably if there had been a whole cake we would have eaten it all despite our full bellies. Kudos to the service especially to Syria for her patience. If we end up in those parts we will not fail to return.

Easter lunch, very good, good food, well done, the girls who served us were attentive and kind. In short, everyone is well done. Six stars.

Trattoria in the center of Castel Belforte offering a complete lunch menu for €14. Even though the business menu was very attractive and the portions were very generous, I chose an à la carte first course because I was attracted by the ravioli filled with duck in butter and sage. What can I say, the quality was very high and the homemade pasta was also very good. I would add that the place is very nice and the service is kind. Definitely a restaurant that I recommend!

We went to this place while staying in Mantua. It is located 20 minutes by car from the center, the place offers some typical dishes of Mantua cuisine at honest prices. We had the risotto alla pilota with ribs and the risotto with saltarei. The menu also offers pizzas. Generous portions and really good food The cover charge includes a basket full of breadsticks, croutons, bread and taralli. Friendly service. Excellent recommended pairing of local wines with the dishes ordered. Reservations recommended. We will definitely be back!

I was on the road, and I decided to stop here to eat something., between the first course and the second course, I opted for this, I must say that the dish presented itself well, the food was excellent. Very tasty., plus the environment was very comfortable, and the staff were kind., well done to all the staff.!!

Ottima cucina locale, porzioni abbondanti, servizio eccellente, personale attento e simpatico. Abbiamo assaggiato il sorbir d'agnoli, i maccheroni al torchio con sugo di stracotto d'asina, riso alla pilota, stracotto d'asino, pera caramellata con crosta di mandorla e gorgonzola e mascarpone, fiocco di culatello con mela fritta, torta Elvezia, tiramisù, torta sbrisolona. Tutto strepitoso!

Appena fuori Mantova, è una buona soluzione quando in città non trovi posto se vuoi assaggiare la cucina della tradizione mantovana. Risotto alla pilota, tortelli di zucca, stracotto d'asino con polenta, luccio con polenta, lambrusco mantovano: evvai con la nonna ai fornelli. Tavoli un po' ravvicinati ma alla domenica a pranzo qui c'è sempre il tutto esaurito. Personale cordiale. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo.
