We went at night and barely found a free table. We ate mussels in tomato sauce. A very large and very delicious portion, even to dip in its sauce. We also ordered focaccia Bianca (a basic pizza without tomato sauce, very simple, but good) and a salad. Plus water. The cost was €35, and we ate very well, especially considering the area. The service was good.

It's beautiful, Cacio e Pepe a la wheel and spectacular. The place is very clean, the pasta on the street is spectacular. Place is really nice, you feel like traveling back in to the glory days of Italy, Cacio e Pepe made in the wheel of cheese is spectacular.

I definitely recommend trying the pasta made with cheese! It's delicious, but very fatty, just like carbonara, which we had mixed feelings about, I liked it, but my other half didn't. Large portions. They ask about water at the beginning, which is charged extra. Aperol is quite tasty, but quite expensive - 8 euros. We managed to skip the line to this place being around 7pm.

An amazing experience, we enjoyed every food we ate there, including pasta, pizza, beef and especially house wine 🤩 i can absolutely advice this place. Inside is cooler than outside obviously but the atmosphere is really nice inside and outside. You can see the typical Italian cuisine. We are really glad having found this lovely welcoming place ❤️

The best carbonara in Rome. The amatriciana is very good (very scenic since you can see them flambéing it inside the pecorino cheese). Very friendly staff at the table. Fair prices and excellent quality.

This is one restaurant I will say is a MUST TRY when you are in Monti. Do try and make a reservation as wait can be long. I also recommend sitting inside in the basement area to get the full atmosphere and experience of this traditional restaurant. Love the energy of the staff and each knows what they are doing. It is a well oiled clockwork done with excellence. The must try is their Amatriciana flambé. Our table was near the station where they do the first flambé for the dinner since we came as they open at 7pm. They have the fire inside a big pecorino cheese. The taste of the cheese gets right into the pasta with the direct fire in the cheese is a class of its own when it comes to flavour. The pasta itself is perfectly al dente. It is impressive with the slightly thicker pasta than spaghetti, the sauce coats it with the right amount that every bite is full of flavour and texture. I have included the video of the fire in cheese cooking process. We also tried their roast beef. The beef was roasted perfectly, juicy with a nice Smokey flavour. It is the balance of all the ingredients in the dish, with different layers of taste complimenting each other that makes it so enjoyable. We finished off the meal with pistachio tiramisu. I like that it is not too sweet and light after a very satisfying and rich first and second main course. We wanted to come back here again. Yes so good! But they were closed for summer holidays. Maybe next time!

Lemon pepper pasta was my favorite pasta dish I had while in Rome! Yummy Prosecco upon sitting down, and the orange chocolate at the end of the meal was an amazing finishing touch!

Se è affollatissimo vuol dire che si mangia bene. Ed è stato proprio così. Cacio e pepe e carbonara squisite con porzioni generose. Il servizio è forse un po’ informale ma lo posso capire visto il numero di persone da servire. Complimenti però alla cucina e ai camerieri che nonostante tutto sono stati rapidi nel servizio. Tornerei sicuramente per gustare gli altri piatti che ho visto passare.

Ci tengo a scrivere una recensione perché in generale mangiano male! Non credo che a Roma si mangi così...male.... Dai troppo pesante!!! Una carbonara che ti fa su e giu, su e giù, su e giù, per tutta la notte....e la miseria... Certo è che i sapori sono buoni, il personale davvero gentile e simpatico, un mito il signore che ci ha servito, super bravo! Sapendo che la cucina chiude alle 23, non ci dici però alle 22,30 se gradiamo un antipasto e poi dopo 5 minuti ci porti già il primo, caspita sono le regole base dell' ospitalitá...caspita nemmeno Superman riesce ad ingurgitare tutto così in fretta. Conclusione: taglieri lasciati li interi, i primi lasciati a metà (tutti), abbiamo mangiato velocemente (nessuno ci ha messo fretta e ci tengo a precisarlo, ma portandoci i primi dopo 3/5 minuti dai taglieri, per non farli raffreddare siamo passati dagli insaccati alla pasta, tutto super velocemente....questa è psicologia....non basta solo saper rosolare il guanciale...). Altra pecca, carbonara normale, carbonara tartufata, oppure quelli con la crema di zucca: tutti lo stesso sapore...ahoooo il tartufo sta pagato non da di nulla (ma l avete preso dall indiano?)...la zucca ha un suo sapore ben preciso.... Non vuole essere una recensione negativa eh....io mi ci son trovato bene e divertito però la prox volta solo prenotazione alle 19,30/20 altrimenti ci rinuncio. Ad maiora 😎🤗
