We came here on the recommendation of our apartment owner, and we were very pleased with everything! No need to book; everyone is on a first-come, first-served basis, and you can easily get in for dinner at your preferred table (inside or outside). The restaurant is all about meat, and of course, we had the Florentine steak.🔥

The best pasta amatriciana I've ever eaten (and I've eaten a lot). If only the pasta could be rated with stars, I'd give it 10 stars. The only problem: you reserve a time, but you end up sitting with a thousand other people who also have reservations. There's no specific line, unlike those without reservations, so even if you arrive early, you might see people trying to get in, and the waiters don't seem to remember who's on duty, especially given the sheer number of people they have to manage in and out at the same time.

Amazing restaurant with amazing food any great prices. Have to que up to get a place but well worth the wait once your sat down. Real old fashioned restaurant with a great atmosphere to go with.

Really excited about trying this authentic Italian restaurant that’s been around since the 1980’s. The waitress did her best to seat a group of six that did not have a reservation on a busy Saturday. Lots of great seating outside and inside. We were disappointed and surprised they didn’t have any calamari which is a staple at most Italian restaurants. We ordered the margarita pizza for kids which was perfect. Thin pizza with perfect crust and great cheese to dough ratio. Next we all had pasta for our main course. We had the Vaccina, a rigatoni with a red oxtail sauce. It sounded great but unfortunately lacked flavor and was extremely tomatoey which took over the dish. My wife had the Delizia, which was a tagliatelle with a pesto sauce and Salomon. Again the pasta had very little depth in flavor and no acidity to balance it out. My daughter had the Carbonara al Tartufo which was the best of all our dishes. Great cream based pasta that had a great balance of cheese and cream with perfectly cooked noodles. The service and atmosphere were both great but unfortunately three out of the four pastas missed the mark.

The best restaurant I've eaten at in Rome :) Be prepared for crowds if you don't make a reservation. The outdoor tables are located on a quiet street, so you won't be bothered by the city's hustle and bustle. The staff is friendly, and they're flexible with dietary/vegan needs.

I booked a table in advance and it was right decision as it was crowded even though weekdays lunch time. Had their Tagliata and that was wonderful! It was the best meal in Rome for sure. Recommend to book a table in advance.

A typical Roman trattoria where you can sample all the city's best flavors. The hot porchetta appetizer is highly recommended; one portion is truly substantial, so split it between three and four! We were a group of six, so we ordered several different first courses to sample a little of everything: they were all worth it, especially the flambéed amatriciana and the rigatoni with oxtail stew. The prices were super fair; we hoped we'd had much more!

If you're looking for an authentic Roman dining experience, this is definitely the place for you. I recommend making a reservation a day in advance, as there are often huge lines outside and you can expect to wait an hour or more to be seated and order. Otherwise, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is truly Roman. It's no wonder they've been around for over 100 years! 🇮🇹
