Place that was recommended to us to eat and the truth is that the price-quality ratio is very good, it is true that it is a chaotic atmosphere, a lot of people, tables close together and a lot of noise, which means that you are not completely calm. The service was very fast and very friendly, and the food was also very good, we tried A matriciana and carbonara as main dishes and the truth is that they were quite acceptable. It is true that the carbonara was a little salty due to the guanchale and the amatriciana was repeated a lot throughout the afternoon, but very good. In addition, we tried the burrata which was good and finally a tiramisu, which as in all of Rome does not fall below the mark and this one met expectations. I have to tell you that there are better carbonaras in Rome.

Historic Roman trattoria, we were there for a dinner with friends, luckily we didn't wait long, wide menu and vast offer of the Roman tradition.
We took a series of appetizers, the Angus meatballs were good, the ones with the sauce, the tripe and the bruschetta with chicory, anchovies and stracciata were very tasty.
The cacio e pepe is excellent for the first courses, as is the flambé matriciana.
Large place with lots of seating, both inside and outside, at the weekend there is a risk of queuing for up to an hour.
Prices a little high, excellent food, informal but fast and courteous service.

Una trattoria storica romana che mostra gli anni di esperienza in ogni suo piatto mantenendo la tradizione delle ricette in tutta la loro genuina bontà anche a scapito di certe rivisitazioni modaiole degli ultimi anni! Si mangia bene e si beve bene … e il prezzo non è affatto male anzi è molto buono anche se non è molto basso! Ci vale tutto

Indispensabile prenotare: fuori c’è sempre una fila di persone in attesa. Per fortuna lo avevamo fatto e siamo stati subito accolti all’interno, dotato di aria condizionata (indispensabile con il caldo di questi giorni). Il locale è molto caratteristico; la cameriera che ci ha servito è stata velocissima, gentile ed efficace: ci ha consigliato il suo piatto preferito (rigatoni al ragù di coda alla vaccinara) che era veramente superlativo!! Un tuffo nella tradizione, nei sapori del passato… scarpetta obbligatoria! Così come i bucatini all’amatriciana flambè. Poi abbiamo esagerato, chiedendo uovo al tartufo, fritti vari e porchetta fatta in casa: la migliore mai assaggiata in vita nostra! Veramente da consigliare, torneremo senz’altro
