After four days as tourists in Rome, we finally landed at this restaurant that lets you experience the Rome of Aldo Fabrizi. We finally ate carbonara, cacio e pepe, and amatriciana as they should be eaten in Rome. TOP! Our next trip to Rome will be a must-see.

I ate at this restaurant for the first time and I loved it! The vegetarian appetizer was tasty and beautiful to look at! The eggplant parmigiana was delicious, it melts in your mouth like magic 😋🤤 The puntarelle were the best I've ever had, with a perfect sauce! The cacio e pepe was very delicious, I'd say! The sour cherry tart was delicious! The price/quality ratio was excellent considering the area! I would highly recommend this place, of course.

A true locals vibe despite being in the epicenter of the tourist areas- yes there may be crowds but the feel is authentic and Roman! I had V a beautiful stuffed tomato and the best damned carbonara of my entire trip in Italy here! Velvety smooth sauce perfectly executed- this is easy to mess up, but Giggi will be very proud to know the staff continue to knock it out of the park. Great home made quality and friendly service- thanks👏

I'm sharing my experience in Rome twice during a tourist trip. Lovers of good, authentic food, we tried this place, and after several months between our first and second visits, we were completely satisfied. We mostly ate pasta dishes, and our experience was excellent with the amatriciana and the cacio e pepe. The service was simple (homemade), quick, and friendly.

We went for lunch. The service was top-notch (there was a very polite and friendly guy). The food was good and the portions were adequate. The coffee liqueur they make was good.

03/01/2026: Very nice atmosphere, very good food. The chef is Polish, he came out to us and took our order. The apple pie was delicious. We recommend it.
21/12/2025: For dinner, we went to Tudini near Termini Station, which I had visited last time. When we arrived, there were quite a few Japanese people there. The menu was also in Japanese. How reassuring. All the dishes were delicious and I had no complaints. For Japanese people who have been treated well, the staff spoke Japanese and were very friendly. That was my impression. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was nice and it was clean and tidy. I enjoyed dinner and a beer.

La Carbonara

29/11/2025: We ate well, the welcome was excellent, but it was quite noisy as it faces Campo dei Fiori. It's a shame that when we got the bill, we found ourselves charged €12 for a basket of bread. It seemed rather excessive. It's a shame to miss out on so little!
17/11/2025: Landmark restaurant and I wanted to eat carbonara at its birth place. The restaurant was very crowded for lunch but they were able to accommodate me as a solo diner and a very nice small table The carbonara was very good but the pasta was not spaghetti. I had a tiramisu for dessert which was outstanding, perhaps one of the best I've ever had in Italy. It obviously has a wonderful location on the campo de fiori. Strongly recommend for at least one visit while in Rome
