A truly delightful evening at the Vasari restaurant! Eugenio, the owner, is truly a great person: friendly, helpful, and always ready to make you feel at home. Even the girl whose name I don't remember was very nice, kind, and sweet. The Florentine steak is out of this world: top-notch meat, perfectly cooked, and incredibly flavorful. You can taste the quality and passion in every bite; the Vasari Chianti is also excellent. Highly recommended; I'll definitely be back if I have the chance! We chose Trattoria Vasari after reading the reviews, and we can honestly say we give it top marks for the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, the quality and deliciousness of the food, and the welcoming atmosphere. Definitely recommended!

I ate at this restaurant. The atmosphere is decent and the service is acceptable. The spaghetti with clams was quite good, but the lemon scallop was too tough and dry. However, we waited over 10 minutes to pay, which was quite slow. Overall, an average experience.

During my 9-day trip across Rome, Florence, and Venice, Trattoria Vasari truly stood out as the best dining place I visited. Located right in the historic center of Florence, it manages to avoid the typical “tourist trap” feel. Prices are very reasonable for the location, which was a pleasant surprise. The biggest highlight, however, was the service. The team was extremely attentive, polite, and genuinely welcoming. In particular, one gentleman who seemed to be a manager or supervisor was exceptionally hospitable and made the experience feel special, even without us asking for anything extra. The food was excellent as well — well-prepared, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Highly recommended, and definitely a place I would return to.

We had a wonderful time! They offered both classic dishes and regional specialties. We'll definitely be back during our next stay in Florence. The prices were very reasonable: €43 total for a starter, two main courses, and a dessert. And the waiters were incredibly attentive.

I was solo, hungry after my day but it was getting late. When I walked by this restaurant on my way back to my apartment I thought this looks perfect. As I entered the host Giani welcomed me in even though they were getting ready to close. I knew I wanted to try the wild boar so gave him my order quickly. As I sat there looking around I realized I had been there a year ago on that visit to Florence. The food was impeccable and wine too. Service was wonderful as well. I give this one a 5 for sure and I will be going again.
