Trattoria Vanvitelli In Napoli

...we have been guests of the restaurant several times, when - especially during the holidays - you feel the need to detach yourself from your stove and let others cook for you... It is also our preference to frequent the trattorias of Vomero whose history I wrote about in the review of the trattoria Nonna Maria. So we came to Piazza Vanvitelli recently on "Pasquetta", a crucial day for all the staff, with a full turnout, especially tourists. Impeccable service, excellent cuisine, on a sunny & cool day. Especially outdoors. We asked for parmigiana and "cuoppi di Nettuno" which were even too abundant! But the ladies at the table next to us asked for the "genovese", and this also filled the plates. Unfortunately, we enjoyed it cold because as Paolo Conte sings in the song "Bartali", women always want to pee... Since when you prepare this dish " 'o ssape tutt' o palazzo " due to the abundant use of onion, I abstain from it. Moreover, I prefer to prepare it only in the season of spring onions: to be clear, those with the "tails", also excellent for robust omelettes. From this, it is better to enjoy it in a restaurant! To try, in the future. Accompanied by two glasses of white wine.. really low costs, for two 68 euros.

Good but a little expensive. Four of us took two bottles of falnghina, two mega appetizers of fried fish (enough for 4), four first courses (three with seafood), four desserts and coffee for a total of 190 euros. Quick and courteous service. You could have spent 40/50 euros less

Fantastic value for money! Very friendly and helpful staff despite it being a very crowded Saturday evening. Clean bathrooms and an informal but quiet environment. Very recommended

Tasty, but the vibe is a bit sad, the service is so-so. The price tag is inflated kmk.

I went to Trattoria Vanvitelli in Vomero and I liked it. The food is good, simple but carefully prepared, and the quality/price ratio is more than fair. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere welcoming, perfect for a quiet evening. A place I would happily return to.

Excellent lunch, very filling. There was also the possibility of having a working lunch, very convenient and equally plentiful. Beautiful atmosphere.

Sono stato in questo posto stasera e ho mangiato una pizza che era la migliore in circolazione. Servizio eccellente e locale perfetto e un ringraziamento particolare a tutto lo staff compreso Anna e Ludovica.

I was disappointed, we hadn't been to this place for a while. I'll start by saying that I've eaten the pizza on other occasions and it was decent. This time the two of us had fried anchovies, a fried cuoppo and tomato bruschetta with the desire to eat a bit of fried food which you avoid at home: the anchovies had a bitter taste, not cleaned well and we didn't have a good fishy flavor and the fried anchovies were soggy, the cuoppo was very greasy and not crunchy. We wanted to have something else but from the initial disappointment. we left

Place out of this world, although in the center of Naples, relaxing, good background music, beautiful garden

The cuoppo and 'zi Filippo, a mixed fried dish of Neapolitan delicacies, are very good. Friendly and helpful staff.
