Trattoria Valerio In Bologna

Very good. It's not the best I've ever heard, but overall it's the best trattoria I've been to in Bologna. Everything good, fast service, nice and welcoming place. Too bad there's no boiled meat. Prices normal.

It only took a bite to fall in love. We stopped there for lunch, and despite the fact that we didn’t have a reservation – which is recommended – they managed to accommodate us anyway and WHOA-Nelly it was awesome. I ordered the chicken cacciatore and it was perfectly done and sumptuous. My wife ordered the lasagna, which looked odd, since it was green pasta, but it was the best tasting lasagna this Italian has ever had. The house wines are also very good, but the house sparkling white is unreal. So good, in fact, that when we returned for dinner that same night, (yes it was THAT good) we bought two bottle to take back to our room. It was one of the best purchases I made in Italy. In case you’re wondering, for dinner (we made reservations after lunch) we switched orders. I had the lasagna and my wife had the chicken. It was all amazing yet again. We also enjoyed the homey décor and very friendly staff. I heartily recommend it!

Wonderful discovery, only made now despite being in my city: small place, intimate and intimate, bistro-style atmosphere, refined music at low volume, strictly Bolognese menu, honest prices for Bologna, smiling and kind staff. Absolutely recommended!

Small and intimate place. Careful and traditional cuisine. The staff was extremely friendly and the service was fast. We ordered a cheese plate with honey followed by ricotta and spinach tortelloni with butter and sage. The highlight was the lasagna, full of ragù and bechamel. Delicious baked potatoes. To finish we chose trifle and creme caramel. We will definitely be back ❤️

Posto molto familiare, accoglienza top, ambiente tranquillo e cibo eccezionale. Favolosa la cotoletta e i tortellini in brodo!! Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo!!
