Great food, friendly service, and the typical atmosphere of an Italian restaurant frequented by locals. It's best to book a table in advance, as the place is very busy and there can be a long wait for people leaving the street, but that only speaks volumes about the quality of the food.

A true trattoria, like those of the past: few frills but plenty of kindness and fresh fish at prices....like those of an old-fashioned trattoria (precisely). Well done!

Informal restaurant with excellent value for money

This historic trattoria has been in Ancona for many years, always popular, and offers free parking nearby. Located near the train station, the restaurant is admittedly quite old, but you'll definitely find authentic Ancona cuisine here. Which is no small feat these days! From the delicious first courses to the legendary Adriatic fried fish, which I recommend along with the battered vegetables—very good. What's also surprising is the low prices. Where all restaurants are just trying to make a profit, here you'll find the owner's honesty, which is commendable. He even offered me a liqueur at the end of the meal. I recommend trying it, and the very friendly waiter is definitely worth a visit. They also have local wines and traditional desserts. If you go on the weekend, make a reservation. This is a noteworthy little place that has been consistently top-notch for years. Try it, you won't regret it.

Nothing to say. A true, no-frills trattoria with adequate portions and excellent, flavorful food. The price is very fair. I'll definitely be back!

I went to Ancona for a competition, and the B&B owner recommended Ulderico's. Of course, I trust him, not knowing the place well, and it was one of the best choices I've ever made. The food is excellent: from the starters to the main courses. Highly recommended.

The best fried fish I've ever eaten! A historic trattoria in Ancona, famous for the quality of its dishes, and I must say it lived up to its reputation. The place exudes its history, made of fresh fish and a love of food. Fast, osteria-like service, without fuss. An experience not to be missed if you're passing through.
