Top-notch traditional cuisine! I ate wonderfully, and most importantly, I found the best Ligurian pesto, handcrafted by them. It was truly excellent, in fact, I even bought jars from their workshop to take home. The staff were kind and friendly, always available, and the prices were very fair. I especially recommend the fettuccine and the stuffed anchovies. Definitely worth a try, and I'll definitely be back!

Excellent restaurant, very busy, pleasant atmosphere just a little noisy, excellent food, we ordered 3 dishes all good and plentiful, the pasta with pesto was super.

Trattoria located in Genoa's historic center. The atmosphere is clean, tidy, and simple, typical of a trattoria, where the staff is courteous and friendly. The cuisine offers traditional Ligurian dishes. On Wednesday evening, I enjoyed Genoese tripe, and for someone from Lazio accustomed to Roman-style tripe, it was a very pleasant discovery. The prices are reasonable for the perceived quality, which is nevertheless excellent. I'll definitely be back to enjoy the traditional Genoese dishes at Trattoria UGO, where you can also purchase their freshly made pesto.

Attracted by reviews and blogs, unfortunately it was quite a disappointment, the only one, among those tried, that I would not recommend in Genoa, good value for money, but service like a hot table, decent dishes but nothing else, I didn't even like the fake tavern atmosphere.

I went for dinner during a long weekend in Genoa.
The place is cute, the staff is friendly, and the food is very good. I've tried pesto at other trattorias, but this was the best!
The mixed fried fish was crispy and not at all greasy.
The prices were reasonable. I'll return next time I'm in Genoa.
