16/08/2025: After a day at the beach for Ferragosto, on the recommendation of some friends, we decided to stop at this bakery on our way home.
We tried several products: traditional focaccia, Norma focaccia, pitoni, and arancini (both with ragù and 'nduja).
Of all the products, the one that struck me the most was the arancini with 'nduja: stringy, flavorful, balanced, and truly delicious.
As for the focaccia, I wasn't convinced: the dough was very biscuity, more like a biscuit than a focaccia. It also had too much tuma cheese: after just two bites, it felt heavy and cloying.
The pitoni have the classic Messina dough, which I personally don't like, but I have to say the filling was good.
One thing that left me perplexed was the prices, which I found quite high compared to the local average: focaccia at €15 per kilo and rustici at €2.80 each.
In conclusion: I really enjoyed the arancini all'nduja, but between the focaccia and the pitoni (which I didn't like), I don't think I'd go back.
13/08/2025: We come here often, but lately we've been disappointed with the service.
I think you have to pay extra for a smile and a thank you.
The quality is good, the food is delicious, and I recommend it.
I think the ice cream is expensive. 30 mini ice creams, €45, is a bit pricey.
