Every time we pass through Acireale it is a fixed stop for us. We know their quality but above all, since we need gluten free cuisine, we know the care and attention they have. Everything was delicious from starters to dessert. The plus is their courtesy.

Warm welcoming place, exudes history, central Acireale area with characteristic historical buildings, very well maintained, easy parking in the area, at least in the evening during dinner time, friendly staff. Excellent food, like the wine, I had some doubts about the choice, I was recommended excellently by the dining room staff. Starters and main courses, all very good, a journey of flavours. Excellent local and non-local wine list. I didn't like the dessert, I made the wrong choice. But for the rest, as already said before, everything was very pleasant. I also recommend it for a romantic dinner given the area and the context. Price appropriate to the quality offered

We became aware of the restaurant through the positive reviews. Well what can I say, rather disappointing in the end. In an Osteria I expect people to guide you through the menu and explain things. Unfortunately, this did not happen. We took the mixed starters, they are beautifully presented and it is a large portion. All are OK, we particularly liked the arancini and the caponata. The pasta, strozza pretti, wasn't good, but the panzerotti was. For the second course, the chicken was too dry, but the donkey meat was good. Conclusion, food was good but we expected much more. Service is generally good, prices too.

Trattoria U Puttusu in Acireale is a true jewel for those seeking an authentic experience of Sicilian cuisine. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with an always available and smiling staff who manage to make you feel at home straight away. The food is simply delicious: traditional dishes prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, which enhance the flavors of Sicily.

Se vuoi mangiare dell'ottimo cibo locale preparato come se fosse in casa e con prodotti di qualità sei nel Posto giusto. Abbiamo festeggiato un compleanno e ci siamo trovati davvero bene. Tutto era buonissimo: carrellata di antipasti freddi e caldi, ottimi i panzerotti al pistacchio (pasta fresca preparata da loro) e la grigliata mista con salsiccia al cavolo "trunzu" di Acireale (presidio slow food). Servizio veloce, personale cortese e che ti sa consigliare. Il locale ha una propria produzione di prodotti tipici.
