Very informal atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Typical dishes of Calabrian cuisine, cooked with great care. We ate an excellent mixed house starter, skipped the first courses, we ordered a second course of exceptional stewed and fried cod; the cut was very tasty and good. Homemade desserts also very good. Good choice of wines. We returned for the second time, and we will certainly return again.

Ritorniamo in questo ristorante per la seconda volta e aumentiamo di una pallina il nostro precedente ( e già positivo) giudizio. Abbiamo mangiato bene, ma la cosa da sottolineare è la gentilezza e disponibilità di colei che ci ha servito al tavolo.
E' d'obbligo una menzione per le patate fritte. Vi sembrerà banale ma non è così. Anche con le patate fritte si può fallire, ma non è il caso di questo posto.

We found ourselves here on a weekday. We ate really well, as in few restaurants in the area, innovative gastronomic proposals but anchored to tradition, valid alternatives even for those who don't eat meat. Intimate and pleasant environment, friendly and professional staff.

A small place with a few tables near the cathedral offering traditional Calabrian dishes. The menu ranges from appetizers to desserts with both meat and fish. We were able to try a trio of meatballs and mpacchiuse potatoes, strozzapreti alla tutti cca, and pork stew. The staff was kind and the atmosphere is typical of a trattoria while the dishes exude the flavors of tradition in their simplicity but with strong flavours.
As negative aspects, the service times: 1h for the starters for a total of 2h30min. There is only one bathroom and the sink is small so it is easy to get wet from splashes. In conclusion, I would go back for the goodness of the dishes and excellent price-quality ratio (27 euros with starter, first course, second course and drinks). The offer of bitters/coffee was definitely appreciated (a custom that is increasingly disappearing).

Caterina ti accoglie in un ambiente familiare dove si mangiano piatti della cucina tradizionale particolarmente curati.
È tutto molro buono.l: dal tipico antipasto della casa (10 portate eccezionali) ai primi, ai secondi, ai contorni. E tutto cucinato con amore e ingredienti di qualità.
Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è ottimo e il servizio molto curato.
Vivamente consigliato.

I can only give 5 stars, we discovered this place by chance through Google Maps and had a great time. With around twenty euros each we left feeling pretty full. We tried the Calabrian starter, three types of homemade potatoes, two types of pasta and it was all delicious. We will definitely be back!
