We went to this typical trattoria for lunch yesterday on the recommendation of a local. We enjoyed excellently prepared traditional dishes. The staff was friendly and helpful. We therefore decided to return again today. Excellent value. Highly recommended for those who love good food and traditional dishes, thus avoiding places only for tourists.

I was drawn to this trattoria by the many 5-star ratings and positive reviews. I'm delighted to add my own. Excellent food, authentic flavors, fast service, and very fair prices. I'm extremely satisfied. A must-see for anyone visiting Verona. Just one piece of advice: make a reservation!

As others have said, this is an authentic Veronese osteria where you can experience the city's typical atmosphere, free from fake tourist appeal. Good food, very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

La trattoria Luciano la trota " a Verona è un vero gioiello per gli amanti della cucina tradizionale. Situata in un affascinante vicolo del centro storico, l'atmosfera è accogliente e autentica, con arredi rustici che raccontano la storia della città. Il menu offre una selezione di piatti tipici veronesi, ma il vero protagonista è il risotto all'Amarone: cremoso, saporito e con un perfetto equilibrio tra il vino e gli ingredienti freschi. Ogni boccone è un viaggio nei sapori locali, esaltato dalla cura nella preparazione. Servizio cortese e attento, accompagnato da un'ottima selezione di vini regionali. In definitiva, è un luogo imperdibile per chi desidera assaporare la vera essenza della cucina veronese. Consigliatissimo!

26/08/2025: We didn't have a reservation, but we were seated right away. The service was very warm and friendly, and the food was delicious. The restaurant is very inviting, well-kept, and clean... all around, delicious, just like the pictures show. We felt at home.
20/08/2025: Tasty food, a relaxed and cozy family atmosphere, and service that really stood out. Our waitress spoke some English and was so genuinely nice. She made us feel completely comfortable. Everything was easy and enjoyable. Definitely a spot worth recommending. Lovely food, lovely people! ❤️
