Typical Tuscan dishes, service ok, but the prices are undoubtedly restaurant prices, I strongly advise against desserts!

We had great hopes judging by the majority of previous reviews, and the plate of Tuscan antipasti was superb. Sadly the main course were less so. OK, but... stews we're both very salty, and the polenta was stodgy. Final problem was the credit card machines refusing both my cards. Overall, it was not bad, but nowhere near the other two meals we had in Ferrara.
(Later addition: we have had very positive responses and debate with the owner subsequently, which I found most encouraging. )

If you are searching for a Tuscan style meal, this is a great option. Make sure you end your meal with a Dolci & Cafe. Service was great.

Local in the center of Ferrara, reachable on foot, by bicycle or by public transport...difficult to reach by car for those who are not from the area.
Inside the restaurant you can breathe the air of a trattoria, with furnishings and decorations that recall it.
The food is good and well served, with quality raw materials and certainly a kitchen capable of cooking them.
The staff is friendly and the price is normal for a restaurant in the historic center of the city.
Definitely highly recommended

In a typical trattoria environment, we found tasty cuisine. The first courses are all strictly homemade and the meat is of truly excellent quality. The desserts were a little below average, but let's face it... The important thing was the meat. The cut as in the photo was really good. The cost of around 280 euros for 8 people was adequate even counting the 2 bottles of Chianti. I will be back to try the Florentine steak

Cozy place and good food, unfortunately I don't give the 5 stars for the closing time of the kitchen as on a Friday evening we wanted to book for 9.30pm summer time they refused us and we opted for another restaurant
(P.s. my thought is that since you are in the center maybe a more flexible timetable for summer time could perhaps be adopted (since in other typical places around there the kitchen closes much later especially on weekends) I would like to point out that I do not It's a criticism but a suggestion anyway, thanks for everything
