I TRIED THE BEST RISOTTI I HAVE EVER TASTED!

Our culinary journey through the taverns and trattorias of Lombardy continues! This time we are in Lodi at the Trattoria Torretta where we ate some delicious risottos! A trattoria founded in 1997 which features rustic and simple furnishings such as the classic red checkered tablecloths so to speak. But let's stop talking and let's start immediately with two typical appetizers:
🥓 Truffled Mortadella and Culatello
🏠 Rustic home-made appetizer with Coppa, local cacciatorino, Lodi lard, sweet and sour red onions, Lodi-style Nervetti, Raspadura
🥠 The two appetizers were accompanied by the Fried Gnocco

Excellent selection of high quality cured meats accompanied by nerves and sweet and sour onion and fried gnocco! A truly excellent appetizer that is very close to the Emilian tradition and cannot be compared in the slightest to the Milanese proposals. Yummy!

But let's move on to the main courses, the real reason why we came to eat at Trattoria Torretta, the risottos!

I was amazed by the deliciousness of the risotto with blueberries and porcini mushrooms! So good I can still taste it on my palate! The pannerone and pear risotto was also very good but the pears were barely noticeable because they were small slices on the rice which instead tasted a lot like pannerone cheese. I would have expected pears melted and melted into the rice. But in any case very good. I can't wait to return to Lodi to try all the other risottos on the menu!

Excellent trattoria where flavors are at home. The rustic appetizer dish followed by an excellent risotto is fantastic. Depending on the season there are various risottos. You can exaggerate with second courses that are inspired by tradition. The dessert deserves attention

What can I say..... I've lived here for 10 years and I didn't know anything about the existence of this Trattoria and...... I met it yesterday for the first time, what can I say... starter with exceptional fried gnocco, not to mention the risottos which in the end we tried three types of and came up with an excellent risotto round, then we took two cuts of meat and those were exceptional too. Ancient but modern environment, super excellent staff and the owner Marco the top personality. What can I say, go try it and you will be amazed.

Appetizer, first course with a wide choice of risottos, ours was yellow with sausage and provolone, delicious and cooked perfectly, second course braised with polenta excellent.
The place is beautiful and the service in the dining room was very attentive.
We are very satisfied, we were a group of friends, if we return to these parts we will definitely come again.

Per la “Rassegna gastronomica del Lodigiano” questa volta la nostra scelta è caduta sulla Trattoria Torretta. Direi che abbiamo pranzato discretamente bene: tanti e buoni gli antipasti, ottimo il risotto con radicchio e fonduta di taleggio (nel secondo risotto, zucca e funghi non legavano tantissimo, ma comunque buono), normale il brasato con la polenta e goloso il dolce. Carino il locale, bravi e simpatici i componenti il personale.

Prenotato per a rassegna gastronomica del lodigiano.
Il prezzo di euro 35 è fisso e si degustano:
antipasto con raspadura, lardo, coppa, torta fritta, cipolline ed altro.
Si prosegue con risotto zucca e funghi squisito e risotto con radicchio e taleggio, che non ho mangiato.
Di secondo un'ottimo brasato con polenta, con la carne morbidissima.
Per finire, strachin gelad, dolce tipico molto buono
