Excellent restaurant, with impeccable service. It is worth booking to guarantee a place. Traditional and very good food.

Il servizio è stato cordiale e attento sin dall’inizio: ci hanno accolti con due stuzzichini dello chef (pane, paté di olive e un ottimo formaggio) e, appena saputo che mia moglie è celiaca, hanno subito preparato un’alternativa per lei. Abbiamo condiviso un tagliere di formaggi locali accompagnato da una deliziosa marmellata di cipolle, seguito da due tipi di pasta fatta in casa, perfetti per poter assaggiare entrambi i piatti. Il tutto è stato servito con tempistiche rapide e senza attese. Un’esperienza sicuramente positiva!

The service was friendly and attentive from the beginning: they welcomed us with two appetizers from the chef (bread, olive pâté and an excellent cheese) and, as soon as they learned that my wife has celiac disease, they immediately prepared an alternative for her. We shared a platter of local cheeses accompanied by a delicious onion jam, followed by two types of homemade pasta, perfect for tasting both dishes. Everything was served quickly and without waiting.
Definitely a positive experience!

It is not the classic Orvieto restaurant for tourists. Quality of raw materials, treated with a skilful hand to enhance their characteristics, with an innovative touch. Friendly and not too invasive service. My husband and I left the restaurant satisfied and smiling.

The main room where I ate was of little taste, the outside in the deor was definitely a different environment. The first of the day had no flavor, the pasta was cheap and not fresh; the second one was very good. The welcome squash and bread are very good. Everything had to be up to par with the latter for the bill which did not have a reasonable quality/price ratio. The girls in the room are in difficulty... I'm not satisfied.

I happened upon this place because it was the ONLY restaurant I found open on a January Monday in Orvieto (I walked to 10 other closed locations that were “open” on Google hours). The dining room seemed a little odd, but once I went to the bathroom and saw the incredible patio through the restaurant, I would have much preferred to be seated there. It was not mentioned to me, although I was the only patron in the restaurant when I arrived.
As for the food, I was blown away. The Amantriciana with Umbricelli was unlike any I’ve had. Delicious. The house focaccia and loaf were exceptional. I also bake long-ferment sourdough and know a good one when I get one. Tiramisu was interesting, crunchy cookies in the bottom with no coffee flavor, but perfectly not too sweet. As the restaurant filled in, I noticed many people were getting the artichoke and cod appetizer dish, wish I would have added to my order had I more room. People were licking their lips. I may go back for the diaphragm and shrimp bone marrow dish. Brava!

Excellent location, center of Orvieto. Decent service, not very attentive. Pasta with meat sauce good but a little bland. The cutting boards are really excellent. Egg pasta and desserts are nothing special. It would be 3 and a half stars

Food is good (tiny portions) but service not so much. When we booked they told us that they had another reservation at 14:00 but once there they asked us to leave at 13:30. They only have one tiny bathroom and there was always a queue. All in all didn’t like the experience.

Reading other reviews I agree with the very slow service. The night we came many items on menu were not available , with an already very limited menu . Surely not returning.
We later saw they charged us water twice . No biggy . Check yr receipt .

Molto bello, cibo eccellente con una attenzione al gluten free: mia figlia ha avuto il suo pane, la sua pasta con i loro eccezionali sughi e quant'altro. Ambiente carinissimo e gentilissime le ragazze. Olio ottimo da gustare con il loro pane fatto in casa! (olio acquistato).
