In about 34 years of riding, I've been here about ten times. I don't know if the owner is still the same, but the quality of the food hasn't changed. I've always had a good time and eaten very well.
The atmosphere isn't one for special occasions, but despite its rustic feel, it's clean and well-appointed. Unfortunately, there's a road between the restaurant and the lake, but it doesn't bother me; the view is beautiful and relaxing.
The only downside I found today was a €5 amaro. However, when I asked after the bill if the €5 was for the amaro, and the answer was yes, I was about to pay. The bill was €51.50, and it evened out 👌. If I had to recommend it, I can't help but do so; it's a long-lasting guarantee.

A charming trattoria right off the road, where you can eat and admire the lake. There are limited parking spaces on the street.
The staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. The veranda with tables for outdoor dining is also convenient for the disabled. There are two bathrooms, kept very clean (one outside on the veranda).
The appetizers, a selection of cheeses and cured meats, were excellent, and the first courses were delicious. The grilled meat and salami served with baked potatoes were delicious.

Very pretty and romantic location with an eternal view. Located in front of the lake, in Scanno. The meat is excellent. Tender and quality. Good quality/price ratio.

Despite the busy hour and the crowded restaurant, they found us a table very quickly. As soon as we were seated, the staff immediately took our orders, and in less than ten minutes, our dishes were served.
The dishes were truly delicious, with a surprising quality-price ratio. Another plus was the helpfulness and kindness of the staff, who were able to accommodate even special requests with great courtesy.

For the second time in two years that we have been visiting Lake Scanno, we chose this restaurant for lunch, a group of four plus three children in tow, and we were once again confirmed by the good food and the atmosphere, considering the lake view and the terrace where the tables are located. The first courses were good (pappardelle with wild boar ragù was excellent), the meat (the braised beef was exceptional), the side dishes were also good (fresh and plentiful mixed salad), and the desserts were also well-made. Prices were average. Highly recommended if you want to have a good lunch not far from the lake.
