The portions were really small and the prices weren't right, in my opinion. The service was friendly. Two thin slices of braised beef, but it didn't seem like much braised beef.

A great find, especially close to the accommodation we booked for this short break in Turin. The owner is very professional. Quality food. Excellent Piedmontese restaurant. I highly recommend it.

A non-touristy trattoria, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Menus feature traditional dishes and classics from days gone by. You can choose from pre-composed menus, which is very useful for trying everything and avoiding the unexpected, astronomical bill. The restaurant is spacious and very simple (which is why it's so beautiful). The owner is extremely kind, helpful, and attentive to the service and customer service. The food is high-quality, well-cooked, and made with local ingredients. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the traditional and original cuisine of Turin.

Classic Piedmontese piola, typical local cuisine but with small portions, so-so quality but competitive price, structurally unsightly toilets... good cleanliness and the environment is comfortable but noisy, the screens do what they can... Fabrizio kind but very (pre)occupied, service quite rushed and basic, like the plating... There is no sign of a bathroom for the disabled, good first time... At worst, postponed.

28/04/2026: Returned to Tasso Barbasso after more than 10 years. Excellent, plentiful (and affordable) business lunch. Lovers of modern plating will be disappointed. But those who appreciate good food will feel right at home! It's a shame we've only been in the area so often...
