Old-fashioned trattoria, they have now almost all disappeared. You always know what food to expect and you always eat well! Never a stomach ache, never a disappointment! Simple and genuine food, quiet, familiar and friendly environment. Really cheap prices. You can't book but you never have to wait long to order so you sit down almost immediately. We also start eating very early. There are also places outside, with a roof. Possibility of having a high chair for children. Cleanliness and courtesy 5 stars. They also do takeaway.

Friendly staff, Good and very democratic!

Food is really good, but its not open to 22.00. You have to get there before 21.00 to get any food. We tried 2 days to get dinner and got nothing because they close earlier.

It has maintained quality, convenience and tradition over time thanks to all the staff🤗

Superb local restaurant. What a find. We arrived just before 8pm to a busy bustling restaurant and got one of the last couple of tables. We were the only tourists in there & you definitely need to try out your Italian. We’d done our research and seen the menus and prices online and thought why not! We shared a mixed antipasto, 2 mains ( veal cutlet and a chicken breast both with side salad) a shared dessert 1 beer, 1/2 carafe white wine. Oh and even tried local liqueurs (not for me) All for 30euros. Utterly delicious and service was great too. One of our favourite experiences in Palermo.

La Trattoria Sciupè si trova nei pressi del Mercato Ortofrutticolo. Nel locale, arredato in maniera molto semplice, si possono gustare i principali piatti della tradizione palermitana, cucinati in modo eccellente. I prezzi sono molto economici ed anche per questo è costantemente affollato, per cui consiglio di recarvisi, sia a pranzo che a cena, piuttosto presto per evitare lunghe attese.
