Trattoria Santucci is one of those places that stays in your heart. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is kind, helpful and smiling, and each dish tells a story of tradition and passion for good food. We had the pleasure of tasting different courses, all delicious: from the tasty and well-prepared appetizers, to the second course of meat with porcini mushrooms, very tender and tasty, up to the tiramisu, which melted in the mouth with an incredible lightness. A detail that particularly struck us was when, after asking for a large carbonara, they brought us a second course for free, without us even asking. A gesture that shows how much attention and care they have for customers. The dishes taste like real home cooking, the one made with fresh ingredients and recipes handed down, where every flavor has its reason. It's not just eating well, it's feeling welcomed and pampered. Highly recommended for those looking for authenticity, quality and a service that goes beyond expectations. We will definitely be back!

Fabulous rooms, clean and spacious

Excellent trattoria in a central position a stone's throw from the sanctuary of Santa Maria degli Angeli. The environment is small but familiar. In particular, the meat-based second courses such as wild boar stew and porchetta are worth tasting.

As for the overnight stay, the rooms are not very well kept but basic, nothing is missing, welcoming staff, excellent location for reaching Assisi. The restaurant offers a varied menu with typical products, very good, the service is not the best but overall I would say good.

I tasted a truffle carbonara. When this is natural and sublime you understand you are in the right place...! Very friendly and helpful staff, it deserves all 5 stars, and I would have given it even more!

Pranzo di Pasqua. Pochi camerieri per molti coperti, ma molto disponibili e sempre cortesi nonostante la scarsa organizzazione. Antipasti deludenti per qualità e quantità. Primi discreti, abbondanti in olio. Secondi mediocri. Ci aspettavamo di più.
