We stopped here by chance on our way home and found a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, friendly and courteous staff, and generous, tasty dishes, both local and international, with fixed-price and à la carte menus. We hope to return soon.

If you keep walking past and promising yourself you'll pop in, you're in serious danger of missing out. What a mistake! Home cooking at its finest and generous portions that quickly make you forget about diets and calorie restrictions. Long live the carbonara and the ossobuco with its delicious puccetta, and the polenta right next to it—you'd end up eating another portion, but you just can't. We finished with the homemade chocolate and apple cake, which, with Gerry Scotti playing in the background, truly made you feel at home. The prices were more than fair for the flavor that lingered in your mouth. We also appreciated the courtesy and kindness of everyone we met, both in words and in looks. Thank you.

A charming and welcoming little trattoria. I asked the sisters who run it for historical information about this old trattoria in the Passirana district of Rho. It's run entirely by women, both in the dining room and kitchen, and that's already a plus for me! The quality is good, and the girls in the kitchen are excellent. Today, for example, the slow-cooked pork ribs were truly top-notch (and I'm quite strict with my reviews, as a good sommelier). I'll gladly return. 😊

Good restaurant, simple atmosphere, it feels like being at someone's house. There is not much choice of dishes, but you have the possibility to choose the complete menus spending very little. The portions especially of the first courses are abundant.

27/03/2026: I had the opportunity to stop at Antica Osteria San Bernardino and the experience was overall very pleasant. Since it was dinner, this time I decided to opt for pizza. The pizza is undoubtedly the restaurant's strong point: well-made, with precise cooking and a balanced dough, capable of being light and tasty at the same time. A simple yet carefully crafted product that manages to satisfy without the need for excess. The service was friendly and helpful, helping to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, in keeping with the style of the osteria. Overall, Antica Osteria San Bernardino remains a solid choice for those seeking good pizza in a casual setting, where quality is expressed above all in the attention to detail and the well-executed simplicity. Next time, I'll be back to try the various dishes on the menu to confirm the restaurant's quality.
16/02/2026: I often stop by for a business lunch. These days there are always interesting dishes. Always a great option, and all very good. The lasagna is definitely not to be missed. The girls are always very kind and fast. The atmosphere is welcoming and clean. The price of lunch seems perfectly reasonable. I highly recommend it. Congratulations
