Trattoria San Sisto In Bologna

On the road to the old Youth Hostel, the trattoria resists like a bulwark against the shopping malls and fast food chains that are slowly surrounding it. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming, it feels like going back forty years: everything is very well-kept while still maintaining the charm of the past. The menu is a mix of Bolognese and Tuscan cuisine that winks a little at foreign businessmen. Let me explain better, the tortellini in broth that I had were really good, you could taste the nutmeg in the filling that was coarsely ground, the pastry was excellent and the portion very generous; I would say a tortellino as it should be made. Congratulations. Then, however, also putting the cream option on the menu and even tortellini with meat sauce (but wasn't that a crime?)... This is definitely the only discordant note For the rest, in company we had a great time, the service was very courteous and fast under the iron fist of the hostess. Definitely a restaurant to recommend where I will gladly return

I stopped for dinner on the occasion of a business trip....I ate VERY WELL the pappardelle with porcini mushrooms...the meat was of excellent quality and you could feel that it was made on real grill......if there is an opportunity I will not fail to return

Characteristic and well-kept place, very good and well-cooked meat.

All of the pasta dishes were delicious! Very fresh, flavorful and robust tomato sauces, delicate cream sauce also. I ordered a chicken and turkey skewer which was quite dry, but still tasted nice.

Returning often and willingly, always welcomed with welcome kindness, I immerse myself in a rustic place where the scent of grilled meat reigns supreme. Lots of dishes to taste and savor. Excellent service, truly recommended and visited. Large car park (always full). Reasonable prices linked to splendid quality. Compliments, to the staff and chefs. Highly recommended.

Locale grande ma diviso in più sale, nonostante fosse pieno si riusciva a conversare senza difficoltà. Servizio cortese e veloce. Buoni gli affettati ma soprattutto la carne alla brace. Di buona qualità ben cotta. Ho preso la grigliata mista per due, ricca nella varietà di carni tutte gustose, ben cotte, succose e non secche. Porzioni generose. Senza infamia né lode il dessert.

Trovato perché ci trovavamo in autostrada, comodo vicino al casello, con ampio parcheggio!! Abbiamo mangiato veramente bene , hanno ampia scelta di primi , cucina casareccia con personale molto gentile. Tagliatelle ai porcini, gramigna al ragù veramente buoni, prezzi veramente bassi !! Ci fermeremo sicuramente di nuovo quando passiamo di qua 🤗
