I went with my husband for lunch on Saturday 17/05/25 at this restaurant, I can only give it 5 well-deserved stars! We did the tasting: appetizers with cold cuts and pickles, 2 first courses and for the second course polenta with 4 different types of meat, dessert, coffee and bitter, house wine to accompany everything... Everything was really excellent, the quality/price ratio is really cheap and you eat really well. The place is very well looked after and the view is spectacular. The staff is smiling and very helpful. We will definitely be back! Compliments indeed!

Location with exceptional views, good food and giant portions (at very honest and competitive prices). Fireplace lit almost in mid-April, but it wasn't too much. Not an endless choice but very good products

It is located in an extraordinary position, with a unique panoramic view of Lake Maggiore. Just sitting at the table on this terrace puts your spirit at its best. For the rest, we appreciate the courteous and prompt service even on the busiest days and a cuisine that has good Piedmontese tradition as its reference.

Bellissimo posto sulla cima piatta del monte San Savalore (a circa 800 m sul livello del mare), sulla costa piemontese del Lago Maggiore, a circa un'ora e mezza da Milano, con straordinaria vista sul lago. Bel locale con ampio terrazzo, in parte coperto e in parte scoperto. Ottima cucina, buona e abbondante. Fra i piatti: risotto ai funghi, polenta con carni varie (vitello, coniglio, straccetti di salsiccia), buona varieta di dolci. Prezzo ottimo: menù degustazione a 36 euro, che comprende: un generosissimo antipasto di salumi di qualità e verdure varie; risotto ai funghi e un altro primo piatto del giorno; polenta con carni varie; dolce o gelato a scelta; acqua, vino (un buon barbera) e caffè. Gentilissimi tutti, a partire dal proprietario. Eravamo arrivati in 10, per il mio compleanno, ma dopo l'antipasto e il risotto 3 se ne sono dovuti andare per un malore del capofamiglia. Ci ha fatto pagare solo per 7. Non solo onestà, ma una squisitezza d'animo ben difficile da trovare. Consigliabilissimo. Se ci andate, vi consiglio di fermarvi a Massino Visconti, prima di iniziare la salita al monte, a guardare il bel paese in pietra, la chiesa di San Salvatore, con le due cappelle con preziosi affreschi quattrocenteschi e il campanile pendente. In tutti i dintorni belle case in pietra, con prati ben curati, bella campagna e bei boschi.

Spartan service but excellent cuisine... and above all... a wonderful view of the lake. Maggiore...it's worth a visit!

Sono stata a pranzo con amiche e posso dire che è stata una scoperta . Luogo semplice ma accogliente in un contesto di un ex monastero, con una vista impagabile sul lago Maggiore. Carina l’accoglienza in una saletta con camino e 10 e lode per la polenta concia ! Tornerò sicuramente
