The food was great and the staff was very friendly. The menu is only in Italian but the staff spoke English and was happy to clarify things. The restaurant was pretty packed around 1pm so it was good that we made a reservation beforehand. The atmosphere was nice and cozy, although the ventilation could be better - we came out with our clothes smelling strongly of food.

Excellent food, home cooking and generous dishes. But I didn't like the potatoes, soaked in oil and reheated. Ok, you couldn't do better for a wedding dinner, but....

Abbiamo mangiato alla trattoria san marchese a gennaio con i nostri due figli di 2 e 4 anni. Cucina semplice ma molto gustosa, come hanno dimostrato i piatti puliti dai bimbi. In totale abbiamo preso tre primi e due secondi per una modica cifra. Se ci capiterà in futuro di essere in zona per pranzo ci fermeremo di certo

Arrivati intorno alle 13 senza prenotazione in una sala stracolma siamo stati sistemati in pochi minuti e serviti con gentilezza e celerità. Il cibo era molto buono: l'antipasto misto ottimo e ben preparato, il primo piatto eccellente come anche il secondo. I contorni zucchine e la caponata ok ma gli spinaci un po' carenti. Giudizio complessivo molto buono anche se l'allestimento della sala carente. Rapporto qualità/prezzo molto alto. Esperienza da ripetere.

22/03/2025: Con 2 amiche capitiamo per caso. Menù con tanta scelta. Cibo buono e abbondante e i dolci super ! Tutti fatti in casa; con opzioni senza glutine. Personale giovane e gentile e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
06/03/2025: Tried it for the first time, quaint restaurant, excellent food, friendly and helpful staff. I recommend a nice nice walk and a good meal at this restaurant. We will definitely be back.

03/03/2025: Excellent experience. Had dinner in the second round. Impeccable service. Well prepared and quality dishes. Traditional Piedmontese menu with the addition of some options for those who don't eat meat (not easy in Piedmont). The boiled meat dish was very welcome. More than valid wine list Correct dinner price.
