We had dinner in this trattoria in the beautiful historic center of Nardò on a summer evening. The restaurant has both tables outside in the charming Piazza San Giuseppe, in front of the baroque church of the same name, and inside in a renovated historic building. The dishes respect the Apulian tradition and are prepared with fresh, top-quality ingredients. Among the first, the laiana with caciocavallo was highly approved. Wide and accurate choice of local and non-local wines. Courtesy and friendliness are at home in all the staff. Unbeatable quality/price ratio. We will be back soon and recommend it to everyone!!

Truly very good food, refined dishes and recipes that have their roots in tradition while winking at innovation. Well done service and very helpful and polite staff. Truly spectacular internal rooms preserved with care and elegance.
the only discordant note was the house appetizer with fried zeppoline which was not up to the standard of the other courses and the price which was decidedly high.

Suggested to me by my nephew, I discovered a trattoria in the heart of my hometown, where once there was only abandonment and desolation. I recommend it, not only to veterans, but also to those visiting Nardò for the first time. Close to the historic center, but not too much; right stop between Piazza Salandra and the Castle. Typical dishes are a must (and there are many), to finish with a service that reflects the excellence of a unique and centuries-old location. My daughter (the only Milanese in the group) loved the orecchiette with "scattarisciati" tomatoes and "scante" ricotta.

We accidentally came across this delightful restaurant in the historic center of Nardò and it was a very pleasant discovery. A dinner characterized by the very high quality of the raw materials expertly transformed by the kitchen into excellent dishes. Attentive and discreet service. Absolutely worth trying.

Enchanting place, rich in history and beauty. In the heart of Nardò you eat very well, with top quality products, homemade pasta with special local wheat. The desserts are also exceptional.
