We always stop for lunch on Sundays when returning from Liguria. The food is delicious, the prices are excellent, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

My daughter and I found ourselves having a quick lunch without a reservation. The staff were really friendly, Angie, the waitress, was really kind, she found us two seats and seated us really quickly, very good and friendly, excellent service and really good home cooking, affordable prices, definitely recommended, for kindness, quality and price.

After a casual visit to the city (we'll be back), Veronica and I stopped in for lunch. It was very crowded, but we were warmly welcomed. The reason for the crowds was the small size of the place, but above all, the deliciousness of the dishes (which were also beautifully presented). We were served after a short wait, and thoroughly enjoyed them! For people like us, who care more about the content than the ceremony, this place is perfect. The desserts, which are homemade, are also noteworthy: highly recommended! As for the dishes, if you can, come back often and try them all (I, a vegetarian, only a few). For photos, I've only included the menu; I'll leave it to your curiosity to go and see them in person; they won't last long, and you'll devour them in no time.

This is how you want to eat Italian on Sunday lunch. Lots of families, small, simple, yet sensational dishes: the best pesto, sausage, octopus, and rabbit... I would want to eat here every day.

Last Saturday, while returning to Milan from Santo Stefano al Mare, we booked a table at Ovada. When we arrived, we had to drive around the parking lot because there was a market. When we entered the restaurant, everything was fine. A cheerful and friendly girl welcomed us. The first course was good. The farrotto with zucchini and the rest were good. Paid very little. Great restaurant, fast service, friendly welcome and excellent value for money. I recommend the eggplant parmesan which was excellent. The pesto gnocchi were also excellent, as was the dessert. A great experience from A to Z. I highly recommend it.
