Passati per caso da Ovada, abbiamo pranzato in trattoria, ottima accoglienza, anche se era molto affollato ci hanno trovato posto, discreta la scelta dei piatti , con menù a prezzo fisso anche la domenica , personale cortese, servizio veloce , parcheggio nella piazza fuori dal locale

Trattoria with good traditional dishes. Excellent desserts

Informal trattoria with a well-cooked menu and very affordable prices. We had Castelmagno gnocchi and trofie with baby octopus; roasted with french fries and braised with puree. For dessert, a meringue pie. The standard of the dishes is truly commendable and the staff in the dining room are very courteous.

This place is easy to access as it has parking in front, inside we find small and large tables for every need: ideal for a lunch break! Choice of first and second course with side dish for 13 euros... honestly the best penne all'arrabbiata that I have tasted! Keep it up 👏

Place in the historic center of Ovada, not an extraordinary location but the food is good and the prices are more than honest. The only flaw: they are closed in the evening, even on weekends. Absolutely recommended

The San Domenico restaurant is located in the historic center of Ovada, in the square from which it takes its name, we Ovada people call this square that of the Scoloppi, precisely from the Scoloppi fathers who are present in the church As for the restaurant, what can I say: excellent cuisine, excellent service and cleanliness, prices from times gone by. Today we ate ravioli di fish, stockfish with potatoes and a wonderful dark chocolate cake with a pinch of "sublime" chilli pepper; all washed down with a pretty good wine.

Good, welcoming and cheap restaurant! You can't ask for anything better!

After an occasional visit to the city (we will return) Veronica and I went in for lunch. It was very crowded, however, we were welcomed very well; the explanation for the full house is due to the small size of the place, but above all to the goodness of the dishes (also well presented). Served after a short wait, we really enjoyed them! For guys like us, who are more interested in the content of the ceremony, this place is perfect; Not insignificant, even the desserts, which are homemade: highly recommended! As for the dishes, if you can, come back often and try them all (me, a vegetarian, just some).
