A perfect lunch. Walked in as a party of one at 2PM and had the most charming & delicious lunch. Simple, well cooked food paired with warm and easy service.

In my opinion, I found a true, classic Florentine trattoria, where you can find dishes as they used to be...but in my opinion, very good. The service was very helpful and courteous, and the atmosphere was that of a traditional Florentine trattoria. I recommend it.

Unfortunately, the menu didn't list allergens, which is essential these days with allergies and intolerances. So much so that, due to my lactose intolerance, I felt unwell that night. I therefore recommend that the restaurant update the menu so that these unpleasant situations don't happen again.

There's nothing like Ruggero. The owners, staff, and food are above average. Only Florentines come to these places, and foreigners are the only ones who have received this pearl of information. The cured meats and livers are top-notch, the carrettiera, pasta with truffles or mushrooms when in season, roast beef or pigeon above the rest. The pork loin is the best piece of meat cooked in the world. If you don't stop by, it's like you've never been to Florence.

Here I rediscovered the flavor of my grandmother's cooking. I was moved. Super stuffed tomatoes :) Thanks for taking me back to my childhood.

Trattoria nella zona periferica dei vip fiorentini. Cucina semplice e tradizionale piatti casalinghi di ottima qualità Buon vino della casa . Genuino che si accompagna bene al cibo. Servizio attento, delicato e professionale.

The atmosphere was great 👍 The swordfish carpaccio, paired with salad greens, fresh fennel, and pink grapefruit, was exquisite — the peppercorns added a delightful burst of flavor with each bite. The main course, Millefoglie di Cecina, a refined tower of codfish layered with chickpeas, spinach, and a velvety purple cabbage purée, proved to be another remarkable surprise The beef tenderloin, paired with foie gras, created a perfect harmony of flavors on the palate

13/10/2025: The best pasta I’ve ever had ❤️ We only waited about 10 minutes for a table, and honestly, even if it had been longer, it would have been totally worth it! Our waiter Chiara was super sweet and attentive, always with a smile even though they were super busy. Grazie for an amazing cozy and very Italian experience. We got the Gnocchi and the spaghetti with fresh cherry tomatoes and basil ❤️💚 everything so fresh and delicious, you will need the bread to clean the plate. Definitely recommend
