It's been years since I've had lunch at a trattoria. The food and staff are exquisite, especially for those who aren't privy to luxury and are looking for local, authentic, home-cooked food. The dining room is a bit cramped, but that's what trattorias are all about. I promised myself I'd return!

We ended up here after watching a video by Robert Makłowicz. We wanted to sample the local cuisine. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The antipasti plate included several slices of cheese, salami, olives, two types of marinated mushrooms, an artichoke, and sun-dried tomatoes in oil. For our main course, we had homemade pasta and a plate of grilled meats. We also tried the tomato salad. Everything was delicious. It's worth eating here. The service was generally positive: the waiter was very friendly, but the waitress seemed tired of tourists and work.

17/11/2025: I had dinner at 3 Quarti in Taormina and was truly won over: a restaurant that works with integrity, taste, and great attention to detail. I started with a beef tartare: precisely cut, fresh meat, and just the right amount of seasoning, with a salad, cherry tomatoes, and cream that complement the dish without overpowering its flavor. For my second course, I had a meat dish with potatoes and green beans: perfectly cooked, the meat tender on the inside and beautifully browned on the outside, resting on a creamy potato base; the crispy green beans add balance and lightness. You can sense the chef's touch, attentive to the ingredients and the cooking process: linear, focused, flawless dishes. Exceptional service, relaxed atmosphere. In conclusion, 3 Quarti is a restaurant I would recommend without hesitation to anyone seeking refined, authentic cuisine in Taormina.
