A genuine, authentic place. Good food, but a bit of a wait.

Spartan atmosphere both outside and inside. Menu with few items. Excellent fish, a plentiful grilled fish. Good service, more than fair bill.

Just one word: WONDER. This place is simply spectacular, immersed in greenery, amidst local scents and a remarkable serenity. Last weekend I came here with my family, almost by chance, but it seems that chance truly gave me a great gift this time. The setting is rustic and homey, making me feel at home; in fact, I came in slippers and a robe. Nevertheless, the welcome was the best: upon our arrival, a huge procession of little dancing dwarves showed us the way, and we were led in a sumptuous carriage to the best table in the room. A bright light, with subtle reflections that illuminated every part of the silverware, adorned the table. Hand-embroidered napkins, soft and white, were placed on a canvas tablecloth with a typical 16th-century Flemish texture. But this is nothing compared to the menu. A small walnut block enclosed thick, yellowed paper, soaked in watery ink between goose feather quills. Every edible form of eel was delicately presented: grilled eel, stewed eel, fried eel, baked eel, roasted eel, smoked eel.
Picked eel, cacciatore eel, eel in broth, Unagi Kabayaki (Japanese eel)...
WHAT A SPECTACULAR sight: I love eel, I looooooove it. I spent all Sunday vomiting because I'd eaten too much of it, but I love it so much that I ate the indigestible pieces of eel in my vomit just for the love of eel.

An old-fashioned trattoria, no frills, but precisely for this reason, worth discovering. A timeless host and a zdaura in the kitchen, a winning combination for the authentic flavors of our cuisine. I tried the frogs, fried to perfection, and the sea snails, two unique dishes that I highly recommend. The atmosphere is worth returning to, too, a reminder of a time long lost and frozen in the Comacchio valleys.

I have to say that as soon as I walked in, within 10 minutes I already wanted to leave at least a couple of times. The owner is a bit grumpy and answers your questions in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable. It was raining outside, there was only one car outside, and I thought it was closed without reading the word written in dialect (Avert). When I asked for marinated, boneless anchovies, he replied that they are born with bones, so he didn't have them. My colleague asked if he had monkfish and he replied (you ask me that all the time and I always say no). Then, getting to know him better and tasting his cuisine, I fully appreciated his dishes, accompanied by excellent wine, all at the right price. I will definitely be back. The wild eel was exceptional.

We stumbled upon it by chance, and alas, it was the end of our shift. Despite this, they waited for us and welcomed us kindly. The best surprise was finding truly delicious dishes with authentic flavors, unlike anything we'd had in a long time. It will definitely become a must-visit from now on! Well done!

A simple restaurant that embodies local tradition. Seafood dishes are simply prepared but delicious, and the mixed fried fish is delicious. Homemade desserts have a genuine flavor. The experience lived up to expectations.

The menu offers a wide selection. We focused on fish and were not disappointed.
Sardines in Saor, Alice al verde, cod meatballs, and fried mixed seafood. Everything was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful.
