Trattoria Praetoria In Aosta

We were brought here by a friend and it was a right choice. The place is cozy and nice and the food was very good! We tried the mix of cheeses and salamis all really good, then the carbonara with polenta which was absolutely delicious 🤤 to conclude the meal a dessert was a must and we loved the choice and the quality. We will definitely come back.

Slightly crowded place on the Sunday of the Immaculate Conception. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive throughout the lunch experience. All excellent dishes, impeccable level of attention to gluten-free, for the first time the care for celiac customers does not lead to a reduction in quality, in fact the opposite. Not cheap but reasonable in relation to quality and care.

Trattoria in the heart of Aosta, very tasty meat-based dishes, especially the pappardelle with game ragù. Courteous staff, pleasant environment, average price. Advised!

Nice restaurant, very good food and excellent service, very polite and helpful waiters. An experience that was definitely a success!!

Let me start by saying that we were attracted by the captivating reviews where they praised the food, especially dishes based on porcini mushrooms, we were greeted by an overly aggressive waitress who practically didn't advise us but dictated what to have, upon our request for a plate of tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms at 8.00 pm on sera replies that he cannot satisfy us because the mushrooms are finished, without making too much chatter we opt for another dish, given that we are neither connoisseurs nor wine drinkers but with a a good dish of game should be accompanied by a nice glass of wine, we ask for the wine list and choose a Chianti, in response the waitress tells us that the Chianti is finished, I repeat that it must have been 8.30pm on Saturday evening, the waitress didn't know recommend a wine suitable for us, she had to know who was in front of her and not offer us a fine wine, always a bit "aggressive", in the end we settled for a glass of wine each, at the end of dinner we left without even taking the sweet and bitter since we didn't like it, we took the dessert in a place in Saint Vincent!!

Delicious platter of cured meats and cheeses, accompanied by an onion jam. Very tasty and richly seasoned ravioli with roast sauce and pappardelle. Finally, white chocolate, hazelnut and pistachio cake with very delicate and sweet blueberry sauce.

Abbiamo cenato in questa osteria molto bella e curata,pulito e il personale erano olio cordiale e attento,abbiamo mangiato piatti tipici valdostani molto buoni e abbondanti,il prezzo giusto è in linea con gli altri ristoranti!consigliato
