Trattoria Porsenna In Chiusi

The trattoria is located near the Chiusi train station. It has a large room and an adjoining room on the veranda. The decor is typical of Tuscan trattorias, with old tools for agricultural work hanging on the walls. The dining room staff, all female, is very kind and welcoming. The table service is perfect. The menu offers typical dishes of the Tuscan tradition. The hand-made pici with duck sauce and the meat are very good, especially the tagliata with excellent local porcini mushrooms. And to finish the meal, the cantucci are truly delicious. The trattoria also offers a fair number of wine labels. The quality-price ratio is balanced.

A quaint Italian restaurant with excellent food, quality service, and affordable prices. My wife and I found this restaurant based on the reviews, and it lived up to the hype. Servers were very accommodating despite the fact that we only knew a little Italian. The food was excellent. Caprese was super fresh, boar rague was out of this world, and my wife loved her white pizza. We would highly recommend it. We paid twice as much at a different restaurant half as good. You won't have that problem here.

Di passaggio a Chiusi, vale davvero la pena fermarsi in questa piccola ma deliziosa trattoria per assaporare piatti dalla spiccata nota di toscanità. Nota di merito, infatti, ai pici all'aglione che consigliamo. Tutto molto buono!

Good food, welcoming trattoria style place. Parking along the street in front of the restaurant. The pear and cheese caps and the pan-fried rabbit are recommended (they are the ones in the photo)

Excellent place I was happy and at a good price

My husband found by Google for the reviews and photo on the steak. It did not disappoint. Cooked perfectly. We started with the Caprese - flavors were simple but fresh and on point. I had the fat noodles , hand made with duck which was very tasty. Our montepulciano wine was €9 and was the best we ever had.

I can only review the fixed menu lunch which, considering the number of people, was excellent. The organization for the service is perfect

Trattoria a gestione familiare; locale accogliente, pulito. Personale molto professionale. Menu completo: carne freschissima, cucinata a regola d'arte. Vino ottimo. Prezzo competitivo. Vivamente consigliato.
