Good food, welcoming trattoria style place. Parking along the street in front of the restaurant. The pear and cheese caps and the pan-fried rabbit are recommended (they are the ones in the photo)

My husband found by Google for the reviews and photo on the steak. It did not disappoint. Cooked perfectly. We started with the Caprese - flavors were simple but fresh and on point. I had the fat noodles , hand made with duck which was very tasty. Our montepulciano wine was €9 and was the best we ever had.

Trattoria a gestione familiare; locale accogliente, pulito. Personale molto professionale. Menu completo: carne freschissima, cucinata a regola d'arte. Vino ottimo. Prezzo competitivo. Vivamente consigliato.

05/01/2025: A real wine bar with excellent catering service. An excellent choice of wines, as is the truly exceptional quality of the food and oil found on the table. I ate a black cabbage pie with pecorino cream which was VERY GOOD, veal cheek with potatoes which was excellent. Fair prices. I was disappointed that there wasn't much choice for those intolerant to gluten (like me), but we happened upon them on the last day of opening before a long closure, so I realize that the choice was limited. The owner was attentive, pleasant, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend, I will definitely go back, and who knows maybe I will find more gluten-free dishes.

28/02/2025: We ate here with a group of 4 for lunch while visiting Siena. One of us was gluten free and that was no problem at all as they had made special preparation ahead of our reservation including some of the best gluten free homemade bread I have ever had. We probably had the best dining and food experience during our entire trip to Siena which also included a few days in Florence. Everything was prepared and served with so much care. They are very generous with the tartufo(truffles) honoring the name of their restaurant. We loved and enjoyed every bite and the ambiance of the restaurant was just beautiful. I can only recommend this amazing restaurant.
24/01/2025: This was an incredible, and accidental, find during our trip to Siena. It is tucked away but has a charming atmosphere set in a cellar. The dishes were imaginative and perfectly done, as was the service. I’d recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a true Tuscan dining experience.
