We went to dinner and felt super comfortable the whole time. When they saw we were Spanish, they spoke to us in our language with a QR code menu that came in our language. The service was a 10. The food was fantastic, everything was super good, fresh and handmade. A wonderful place for quality, price, and friendliness.

Yes, the decor and ambiance are more like a cafeteria! But the food they conjured up for us was simply fantastic 🤩. For our first course, we had pasta pomodorini e pesto and antipasti del mare, and for our main course, we had grilled tuna and a sea bream, the most delicious I've ever tasted. Each course came with a mixed salad. With wine and water, the total came to €95...we would probably have paid more than double that in a gourmet restaurant 😉. So, highly recommended!

We've been coming to this restaurant for five years, and every year it surprises us. Superb dishes made with quality ingredients. The restaurateur, Roberto, is always top-notch. Excellent!

Amazing food experience! We, a family with two teenagers, had the 4 appetizers and then a main course. Tuna steaks were incredible and fried sea food was very delicious, not too fat as it can be served. Tiramisu for dessert equally great and the mirto liqueur also very well balanced. All in all highly appreciated. Great friendly service too

Ristorante Il Caminetto

28/12/2025: We ate on Christmas Day. The menu wasn't what I expected. The appetizer included stuffed mussels. I tried one and felt the filling was undercooked. The first courses were seafood ravioli, which had practically no fish, but something creamy... I didn't like it. The paccheri with mushrooms were good. The second courses weren't bad. The waitress, Angela, was definitely perfect. She was full of energy, quick, precise, and helpful. Well done. The price was excessive for what I ate.
18/11/2025: Il Caminetto is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Cabras. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, with attentive and always smiling service that makes you feel truly welcome. The dishes are a tribute to Sardinian tradition, prepared with the freshest ingredients and expertly presented. The fish is extraordinary: authentic flavors, perfectly cooked, and generous portions. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in presenting each dish and the chef's ability to enhance the flavors without ever weighing you down. The quality-price ratio is also excellent. I highly recommend Il Caminetto to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable gastronomic experience in Cabras. I will definitely be back!
