Simple place, exceptional food... Really well eaten. Menu not huge but refined. Grouper ravioli 10 with honors, purple potato gnocchi with excellent bottarga and clams. Delicious fish. Highly recommended.
Two first courses, 2 second courses, desserts, one liter of house white wine, coffee and grappa €95. I won't add anything else.

Five people at the table, ordered main course as Fregola with seafood, culurgiones with sauce, linguini with seafood as well. Second dish was three sides of fried calamari.
We really enjoyed it.
The only cons we’d let you know, is that they brought the seadas, bus not the tiramisu, they forgot about it, and bringing it later after remind them. It was totally frozen and not enjoyable.
The service and welcome was great.
I’d definitely recommend it!

Lunch, eve of August 2021; reservation (always recommended), punctual arrival with some friends, maximum punctuality in receiving us: table ready, staff immediately operational. It must be said that all the positive opinions previously expressed are confirmed: with some details to add. In these dog days it is a pleasant surprise to immerse yourself in the light coolness of the room (having experienced, in various public places, the horror of instant freezing!). Partially renovated, brighter location, with distances and precautionary measures strictly respected. A slight increase in prices (but, given the situation, there may be). The range of seafood appetizers (with daily additions and/or updates) is always wide; The quality and freshness of the basic raw material produce, in the various versions proposed by the kitchen, delicious results for the palate: which can thus enjoy, in different declinations, the flavor of traditional local recipes. On this visit we wanted to focus on seafood first courses: the group's judgment decreed first place, with equal merit, for the always delicious grouper ravioli with (generous) sprinkling of bottarega and the very delicate fragrance of a plate of fregola really well packaged. Always quick, courteous and smiling service; Roberto's presence and his interventions were vigilant and constant. An excellent meal, an excellent quality/price ratio too! La Portixedda continues to be, for Oristano, a gastronomic garrison of excellence!
Second experience in this restaurant. If possible, better than the first! We book (better to do so: the room is always full!), we arrive on time, for lunch: table ready, orders taken quickly, appetizers served in 10 minutes! Choice formula: "fish tasting", which, for 25 euros per person (excluding drinks), offers 6 starters, a first or second course, dessert. Fresh fish, masterfully cooked, quick service, cheerful atmosphere, fair bill. Excellent quality/price ratio, simple cuisine which, starting from excellent quality raw materials, reveals, in the preparation, the expertise and care of a home-made tradition. Absolutely try the delicious bottarega ravioli! An extraordinary gastronomic experience! Of course, you shouldn't expect white-gloved waiters or nouvelle cuisine recipes: rather, excellent preparation of traditional local dishes. To be recommended!
May 2021: venue visited again, after a year of limitations for everyone. The owner's enthusiasm and good humor remain unchanged, always pleasantly present among the diners. You can now enjoy a shaded, well-furnished courtyard, fully respecting distances and health safety measures. Quick, smiling, professional staff. Great punctuality. A printed menu has made its appearance: but, since the restaurant always works with fresh fish, it is always better to rely on the suggestions of the day. One of us preferred a land menu, and was fully satisfied (quality, flavours...). Prices essentially unchanged, with a truly exceptional quality/price ratio. Once again a totally positive opinion, which confirms and improves the previous ones.
After a few years, the management of the restaurant is still the same (Roberto, who follows examples and recipes received from his mother); in September 2024 we are about ten friends, of six different nationalities: and, starting from the excellent quality of the raw materials, Roberto manages to decline each course in such a way as to satisfy the different diners, using an addition, an ingredient, a time cooking to meet everyone's tastes and preferences. The key to its success lies in this: in quality, and in knowing how to satisfy (always around the tables, promptly, asking, checking, inquiring) everyone's requests. And the overall opinion remains excellent: it is this continuity that is appreciated!
