Trattoria Pizzeria Portixedda by Maria Neves In Oristano

Dinner at Trattoria Portixedda was a mixed bag. The staff was truly exquisite: courteous, very professional, and always available. The desserts, truly exceptional, and the mixed appetizers, very good, received top marks. The mixed fried fish was tasty, but the portion could have been a little more generous: a small detail that would have made the dish more satisfying and beautiful to look at. The wine by the glass, however, was a bit lacking. The only downside that lowered the 3-star rating was the seating on the enclosed veranda: the air conditioning couldn't cope, and we suffered from the heat throughout the dinner, compromising our comfort. With a little more attention to detail and air conditioning, the experience would have been 5-star.

We ordered pasta with bottarga and clams, a steak, and mixed fish. Everything was delicious, fresh and high-quality. The service was very friendly. 100% recommended.

Drawn by the traditional Sardinian cuisine, we decided to try this trattoria. We ordered two appetizers and two first courses, and everything was delicious. Special praise goes to the owner, who is incredibly friendly: he made us feel at home, reminding us of a local restaurateur in Tuscany! The service is very fast and the prices are fair. The atmosphere is authentic, like that of a real trattoria: no frills or excessive "pampering," just plenty of substance and authenticity. We had a really good time and also really appreciated the music selection.

The quality-price ratio wasn't good. The dishes were well-prepared but lacked any particular flavor...a bit bland. Excellent hospitality.

An experience worth reviewing, but it can happen. Everything was quite good, but two mistakes unfortunately ruined the evening. They served me the regular fregola allo scoglio, not the burnt fregola from their menu, as I had requested. I ate it anyway, and it was good, but I've had better. My partner instead ordered traditional spaghetti with clams and bottarga. Unfortunately, the shells were all broken and crumbled on the plate, making it impossible to eat. This was reported, and they remade the dish, which was served within 10-15 minutes and was truly excellent. It's a shame I had already finished and she was a bit hungry.

Not far from the center (just a few minutes' walk), we went to this restaurant based on the many positive reviews we saw on Trip Advisor and Google. The atmosphere is very pleasant and refined, with just a few tables and wooden furnishings. The staff is very friendly and professional; the chefs work to a dance rhythm (the music in the kitchen is loud). I personally found this to be a sign of good teamwork (though perhaps the loud volume might bother some or be unromantic?!). Dishes: Sardinian fish specialties, truly well-prepared and of excellent quality (good value). The mixed appetizers and first courses had bold flavors, perhaps a little spicy, but we enjoyed them. The owner was very attentive to the customer and truly kind (he even greeted us by shaking our hands). A lovely evening.

Simply the best. We've dined there four times, and every course deserves top marks. Congratulations.

If you want to eat well and pay a fair price for what you eat, this is the place to go. The restaurant owner is very friendly.
