Our experience at Pescomare was a journey that introduced us to a wonderful family, right from the moment we booked.
The exquisite food and the quality of the people go hand in hand.
In addition to the exceptional caponata and the delicious 7-scogli linguine, we ate amazing mussels while chatting and laughing with everyone, especially Diego, the future owner, who recommended the most delicious desserts!

This restaurant is absolutely recommended. The courtyard is a pleasant place to sit, with plenty of shade, and on hot days like today, the owner even provides extra fans.
For antipasto, we chose insalata di polpo—the octopus was delicious.
Afterward, we enjoyed the linguine ai 7 scogli (the house specialty) and the risotto alla pescatora. The seafood is generous, and the service is friendly and unfussy.

A quaint restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, further enhanced by the presence of a Sicilian folk group. Excellent food, and quick, friendly staff. I tried all the appetizers, including the caponata (delicious) and a fantastic grilled fish. All this was enhanced by the kindness and friendliness of Mrs. Luisa. I will be back.

I returned to this traditional courtyard after 25 years, reminiscing. The place has remained unchanged, just as it was when generations of children and grandchildren ran it. I ate a good pizza, even better, and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommended.

Salimos a cenar aquí 3 veces, la comida era buena, pedimos una recomendación de vino y no miramos atrás. El servicio era genial, y tenía un buen ambiente familiar. Probamos algo diferente cada noche, así como pasta y pizza. El patio era un gran lugar para comer y justo al final de la calle del Duomo en el centro de Ortigia.
