Small, welcoming, warm place in the center of Gissi. Homemade cuisine carefully prepared by the owner's wife. A simple cuisine, like feeling at home, but definitely good. Abundant dishes, bottled wine at an appropriate price. Cold and hot local appetizers, guitar with ragù, truffle ravioli and a generous mixed roast, cooked under the tile as per Abruzzo tradition, the tender and tasty meat melted in the mouth. Homemade dessert, typical Abruzzo dogge pizza, truly delicious, coffee, bitters all included in the price, which in my opinion is really reasonable. Friendly staff, modest but familiar environment. Perfect restaurant/sandwich shop starting from the very kind and helpful staff. the place is very nice, not very big but with plenty of seats both inside and outside, the food is really excellent, both the pasta (first course) and the meat (second course) (the meat is really fresh and soft)

Vengo a Gissi da oltre 30 anni per le vacanze e non manco mai di passare una o due serate da Massimo il gestore del pub "Paperino" sempre gentile e disponibile. I suoi panini sono memorabili e nel tempo hanno mantenuto la qualità iniziale . Non ultima lode va fatta ai prezzi che sono sempre competitivi.......

Passing through, I stop for a snack, then they offered me a first and second course. A lumberjack followed by a pork steak with side dishes and coffee. Everything was excellent and plentiful and the bill was a pleasant surprise. We'll be back to try something else.
