I discovered this place by chance during a dinner with friends, we were returning from a day at the beach, they live nearby... and this place came up... small with just a few tables but impeccable and fast service, excellent pizza (so good I ate two).

So, let's be honest, without mincing words. The place itself isn't bad; on the contrary, the atmosphere is well-kept and it's a decent place to stay. The problem is that here, things are inconsistent. The ingredients may be there, and sometimes they bring you a dish that's out of this world, making you say, "Well done!". Other times, however, you'll fall for some inexplicable blunders, with some main courses that are a bit dull. The service is also a bit hit and miss: one moment they're quick and attentive, the next it seems like they've forgotten about you. And that's all well and good, but the real sticking point comes with the bill. For the price, I expect everything to be perfect, no ifs, ands, or buts. When you spend that kind of money, you can't really falter like that. In short, you can give it a try, but be prepared to pay more for the idea than the substance. It would be 4 stars, but the bill drops to 3 stars.

But are we sure what Alessandro Borghese - Quattro Ristoranti reported? The food was decent, although the beef tagliata with caramelized onions was literally covered in oil. The service was poor; for three people, two were served at the same time, while the third was served after the other two were practically finished. I should point out that the restaurant was empty (only two other tables for two). I wouldn't recommend it.

I was in Siena a year ago and parked my scooter in front of this restaurant, but unfortunately I preferred to grab a sandwich and a beer on the go. I'll be in Siena in August and this time I'll eat there. I'm coming!!

Un ottimo posto dove assolutamente c'è da fermarsi almeno una volta... Federico una grandissima persona gentile simpatica e un ottimo cuoco, il suo cinghiale a km zero è da leccarsi i baffi. Anche il resto del personale è gentile e preparato. Menu servizio e prezzo da novembre.
