I was only in Verona for a week, visiting with a crew of somewhat high-maintenance travel companions (my mom and three of her friends)—but we were all able to agree on dinner at Osteria Scalin *twice* during our stay. The special menu items we tried were different and truly innovative, and all the food we had was delicious (shout out to the anchovy and burrata pizza). The staff was knowledgeable and everyone was very gracious about special requests and questions. I hope to return multiple times on a future trip to Verona!

Off the busy tourist paths of Verona, this gem is hiding in a side street across the river from the centre and has everything you need for a lovely dining experience. The food was excellent: we had tuna tartar, catch of day (branzino), pizza estate, and a great tiramisu to top it off. Service was super friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating.

One of my favourite places in Verona! delicious food, try cicchetti! nice atmosphere, kind service! Not exactly in the city center but not far away. Affordable prieces. If you are searchinf for a food restaurant this is your choice!

Ogni volta che ceniamo o pranziamo in questo ristorante, io e la mia famiglia ci sentiamo a casa. Qui si trova sempre pesce fresco, di qualità anche le proposte di carne, o si può mangiare un’ ottima pizza.
