I often and happily return to Scalin. There are few places that simultaneously offer excellent, easy-to-digest pizzas, as well as good-quality cuisine and a pleasant selection. My guests are extremely satisfied. Plus, the staff in the dining room are professional and cheerful—well done! PS: The dining room can get a little noisy when there are a lot of young customers, but lucky them...

A resounding "yes!" Lo Scalin is a pizzeria and osteria with a wood-fired oven in the Veronetta area. A simple yet warm place. The fish dishes are excellent; I recommend the swordfish carbonara or the large seafood antipasto, but the mixed cicchetti and pizzas are also very good. For dessert, I recommend their tiramisu. The owner is helpful and reliable. Attentive and helpful staff. Excellent value for money. My only complaint: the bathroom, while clean, is a bit dated.

21/02/2026: A very nice and welcoming place. Everything is prepared with care, the dishes are fresh, the portions are not small at all, and the quality is excellent. The menu is limited, but this is justified by the focus on the quality of each individual dish; more choice doesn't mean the same level of quality. Recommended!
