I've been there several times over the years. I returned on Saturday and found it once again to be a charming place to have lunch in the shade of beautiful lime trees, with excellent food and impeccable service. It's always a pleasure.

It's a shame because the wine list is worth it. Otherwise, the staff was polite but cold. It was a really fast lunch, with the first course being cleared in installments, and the dishes were taken away to bring the second course while someone was still eating (not that it was taking half an hour, mind you).
The snails were very good, and the "gran tagliere" appetizer was a plate with three slices of ham, four croutons, and two small pieces of cheese, all very, very bland.
The fried food, which should be their specialty, was actually nothing special. In fact, the chicken and rabbit were very bland, and they weren't cooked properly because they were very greasy!
Lastly, I can't stand reheated moka pot coffee. It's something I can't stand, especially at €2!

I'm still pleased to see that the course worked. The friendship has arrived!
And that's why I'm answering you... You've got your hands on two things that maybe future customers will benefit from improvements thanks to me... namely the cutting board, which now, having called me a liar because I don't have the photo (which fortunately, or unfortunately, I forgot to do), what do you plan to do?! Either increase the number of slices or remove "gran tagliere" from the menu because it's an objectively ridiculous title for what you get. The other thing is coffee... well, I hope you usually bring it directly to the table with a moka pot, because it arrives practically cold, but above all reheated because you can taste it very well when it's reheated. It might just be that this happened to me.
Anyway, I remind you that I gave you three stars to let you know that there's a problem that maybe can be fixed. I still think criticism is constructive and always welcome. Evidently, you're not interested in pleasing the customer. So yes, taking the course was a great choice; it was money well spent!

A welcoming, well-kept, and pleasant outdoor space, with a large tree at its heart. The city heat doesn't reach the trattoria. Dishes that are more difficult to find elsewhere.

A small restaurant that doesn't need to shout about its elegance, but does so with understated elegance. It boasts a delightful outdoor garden and excellent dishes, including the brain and fried rabbit en cobweb, a signature dish for decades. Highly recommended; prices are fair!
