We went because the reviews were quite good. The food is OK, but nothing more than basic home cooking. We paid €10 for vegetables and we got a plate of watery and overcooked cavalo nero. Unless you are too tired to walk further into town I would skip this restaurant

Best restaurant in the area with a great welcome, don't hesitate to take a detour before visiting the Roman villa which is 4 km away. Good and inexpensive, everything is homemade 🤗

Heel lekker gegeten! We waren de enige gasten en werden heel vriendelijk en gastvrij bediend. De bresaola en de konijn en het lamsvlees waren heerlijk bereid.

Friendly and available right from booking; simple menu however, very characteristic with truly delicious dishes; the cake with ricotta and pistachio and the homemade fennel liqueur are recommended. Pet and family friendly restaurant. Recommended.

Tutto veramente buono , pasta con pesto fatto da loro, pasta alla norma buonissima , anche le cotolette e le bruschette . Davvero super consigliato e anche un servizio eccezionale , un complimento particolare al cameriere veramente super accogliente .

We stopped on our motorbike for a quick lunch and found everything fantastic.... Very welcoming owner and staff and sublime roast fish!!!

Rustic and welcoming place. The staff is very kind and attentive to customer needs. The food is of excellent quality and prepared with love, every time I taste the food that my grandmother prepared for me. Highly recommended

08/08/2024: Rocca dei Saraceni is a paradise of things, silence, nature, cleanliness and top quality service. From top to bottom all the service and staff is great especially Ms Caterina Lombardo who excels in her superior quality and talent on Wine and other Food experiences. Waitresses are also doing their job at best in class specifically Rediet who super understands what the client needs. Well done from every aspect, see you again!
09/07/2024: The hotel is beautifully situated with a view over a valley and Mount Etna. With this view you get a delicious breakfast every morning with everything you could call 'breakfast'. The coffee you get for breakfast is of very high quality! The swimming pool is wonderfully cool during the day with wonderful beds and service. There is not much to do in the vicinity. The location is a very good base to visit the beautiful cities of Sicily (Taormina, Syracuse, Noto, Agrigento) by car.

23/10/2024: Everything was excellent, pappardelle with unforgettable sardines, the owner was friendly and very kind. We will definitely be back.
13/10/2024: Everything about this small terrace restaurant is fantastic! It is located in the old town, the table service is fantastic being provided by the owner her self ( very polite and professional and also very friendly and chatty) but the food is hard to describe how delicious it is! The sea food pasta and the carbonara pasta is just perfect! The grilled pork and salciccia perfectly cooked! I don't wanna start with the caponata! Fresh veggies freshly cooked! Mumm is the best chef in town! It's a family business! And they do it well!
