Very nice and well-kept place. The staff was kind enough to keep our reservation even though we were 1 hour late due to an unexpected event on the road.
Excellent typical Roman cuisine and a wide selection of wines. Honorable mention for the carbonara and the maltagliati with chicken giblets, truly spectacular.

Truly delicious dinner. The staff is exceptional, with a kindness that is hard to find nowadays. Excellent quality food. I ate an appetizer (onion tart with robiola) which is one of the best things I have eaten in recent times. Many proposals and well thought out to please both those who love classic Roman cuisine and those who want to try something different. They are also attentive to the various and possible intolerances. Excellent value for money.
Congratulations indeed!

Nice atmosphere, no waiting, both outside and inside. Excellent dishes, prices absolutely accessible for everyone, if you want to spend an evening eating well and not spend a fortune! High quality-price ratio. Parking a bit far. 5 stars.

Great food! Slowest service I've ever seen though. No AC in the restaurant.

I had lunch on a Sunday when the restaurant was full.
In addition to traditional dishes, they have many revisited ones that wink at fine dining.
A good selection of wines, including natural ones.
I wanted to try the traditional dishes, in particular, carbonara and cacio e pepe.
Good and heavy carbonara. Large quantity of pecorino and strong flavor also given by the guanciale. Probably not for all palates, if you are looking for something more balanced. I didn't mind it at all, even though such a strong flavor is not common.
Cacio e pepe on the other hand is much more balanced and at times light on the pepper. They certainly prefer to leave all the thicker condiments.
I also appreciated this one, perhaps a little less than the carbonara.
Two slightly sore points:
- long waiting times, almost an hour for a carbonara. The waitress warns me that "it will take a little while" but not how much. I wasn't in a hurry, but the timing doesn't go unnoticed.
Other tables were told that the kitchen was slowing down because there were so many orders, I understand it was Sunday, but maybe a little too much.
They were quicker on the cacio e pepe, thanks to the fact that it was the end of the service.
-The other point is the bill, the traditional dishes cost €14, a little above the average of what you find around, but the portions are generous so it passes.
Filtered water €1.5, simple side dishes that on average cost €6-7...
Maybe not so much a trattoria but more of a restaurant that tries to distance itself from that concept, without abandoning the traditional dishes.
Overall I liked it, but maybe I expected that little bit more to be able to love this place.

Loved our pici with chicory - was a unique, light pasta unlike anything we’d had in Italy thus far. A great classic caccio e Pepe too. Loved the free warm bread, tiramisu, and service. This place was out of the way for us but definitely worth the taxi over. I’d recommend it for a great meal in rome!
