Great hotel for one or two nights. The room was okay, a bit dated. The pool and the entire hotel were super clean. Breakfast was okay and plentiful. Only the cappuccino was so-so. Staff was very friendly and competent. Location is very close to the highway. Easy to reach, but a bit noisy. Overall, it was very good for us.

The beds were uncomfortable, cleanliness was okay, and the air conditioning was a bit of a germ-infesting mess. Breakfast was very spartan but okay. A classic 3*** hotel in Italy.

05/11/2025: The kindness of the staff was all positive, the rooms were clean, the dinner was very good.
01/10/2025: We were on vacation in Malcesine at the end of September 2025, but not at this hotel. We lost our bag containing our debit card and cell phone near the hotel. Hotel guests left it at the reception. Guests and the hotel reception staff initially tried to contact us by phone and email. This allowed us to quickly and easily retrieve our valuables. Thank you very much 😀

Agriturismo Baita Calvarina

12/10/2025: I returned to this agriturismo after a positive first experience. I can confirm that the location is pleasant and the menu, along with the prices, is a strong point. Unfortunately, the second visit wasn't up to par. There were three of us, and we all ordered baked rabbit, specifying that we didn't want polenta. We were served a portion of rabbit that was clearly insufficient in terms of meat, with the addition of polenta that we hadn't requested, which filled the plate and masked the lack of rabbit. The quantity was the main problem, and pointing it out didn't lead to any attempt to remedy the situation. Such a marked drop in standards forces me to revise my previous rating.
27/09/2025: A truly welcoming place. The staff is super helpful, and the girls are very attentive to their customers, with enviable smiles even after hours of work. The food is excellent, and I'm sure you'll want to try other dishes. I'll definitely be back.
