I've known Pane e Vino for quite a few years: i.e., since it was located in the valley (maybe it was still the last century? Oops!)
The quality has always been amazing.
Flavio and co. are a kind certainty.

Quiet place, very attentive and friendly but not intrusive staff. Tables aren't crowded together, and last but not least, the food is top-notch. We'll definitely be back.

We returned after a few months, but this time staying at Palazzo Ratti right above the restaurant...everything was still wonderful, and the truffle dishes were excellent...but Flavio is the best thing about the place, an excellent restaurateur, kind and affable, and he always makes you feel at home. THANK YOU FOR PAMPERING US SO MUCH

I chose this trattoria at random for my weekend in the Langhe, and it was a pleasant surprise. The place is very welcoming, and the menu selection is excellent, from individual dishes to a tasting menu, all the way to the delicious white truffle. The staff is young, knowledgeable, and polite (the waiter couldn't remember the name of a vegetable accompanying the main course, but apologized several times). The real surprise is the owner, Flavio: a true Oste with a capital O, passionate, approachable, but never intrusive. He told me all about each glass of wine! I absolutely recommend it.

Great hospitality, super value for the price and delicious food. Of course, you must try the tajarin with white truffel, if it is the right season. Such a surprise place for us in a cosy town.
