Trattoria Pane e Vino In Cherasco

Excellent trattoria (but it really is a high end restaurant). The food is based on the typical Piedmontese traditional dishes, but with a zest of innovation by the owner and chef, who is a really agreeable and nice person: he comes at the table and it is really pleasant to chat a bit with him about his cuisine and the wine and any other subject you like to. The atmosphere in the room is very nice, the tables are dressed in a very elegant way, and the menu is nearly perfect with all the dishes you would expect in this area. All is prepared very well and in a tasty way, and also very nice to see. The waiters are kind and knowledgeable about wines and their associations to the foods, but everything is presented in a light way and without that somewhat snooty formality of waiters and sommeliers in top-level restaurants, but rather with a smile and even some self-irony, so making a pleasant and smiling interaction. The prices are reasonable for the level of quality you get. I will come back!

La sera del 15/08 abbiamo trascorso una piacevole serata presso questo bel ristorante. Innanzitutto davvero molto cordiale il proprietario ….ci ha messo subito a nostro agio. Personale attento e preciso. Servizio veloce e impeccabile. Cibo eccellente, di ottima qualità : abbiamo mangiato tutti piatti tipici della cucina piemontese e sono stati preparati benissimo e con cura. Ho apprezzato molto anche la cura dei dettagli,gli abbinamenti dei materiali,l’arredamento e il bagno,pulito e curato anche lui,con salviette monouso in tessuto per le mani e una specchiera con cornice in legno meravigliosa. E’ stata davvero una bella scoperta!!!!!
