Discovered thanks to some Instagram advisors. I called to book and, with extreme kindness, the owner reserved a table for us for the following day. Welcomed with warmth and availability, the menu is displayed to us! We decide on 2 starters and 2 first courses. 4 exceptional dishes! All accompanied by two truly special wines recommended by Mr. Flavio. Even though I'm not from the area, I highly recommend it! In fact, I'll tell you, I think it will become a fixed stop on a constant basis. It's the classic place where you wish the dishes wouldn't end. Truly spectacular!

Flavio is a gifted host. It's really fun to eat with him. The cuisine is excellent and the wine selection is exquisite. Unfortunately we don't go to Piedmont that often 😭.

This place is a real jewel, where the passion for tradition is combined with a warm and sincere welcome, thanks above all to the wonderful owners. From the moment we entered, we were surrounded by a familiar and convivial atmosphere. The environment is rustic but with attention to the smallest details, with that warmth typical of old-time trattorias that makes you immediately feel at home. The menu is a tribute to the authentic flavors of the area, with dishes prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The portions are generous and the value for money is absolutely excellent. Special praise goes to the owners. Flavio's presence in the room is constant and discreet, always ready to have a chat, recommend the dishes of the day and make sure that every guest feels pampered. The most sincere compliments to the owners for having created an oasis of taste and conviviality. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to everyone!

TODAY 25 APRIL 2025 HAD LUNCH IN THIS PLACE, EVERYTHING VERY GOOD WITH A VERY GOOD WELCOME. RECOMMENDED YES. RECOMMENDED VISIT TO THE VERY BEAUTIFUL TOWN, TO THE MUSEUM OF MAGIC FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS. SALMATORIS PALACE THE MANY CHURCHES UNFORTUNATELY THE CASTLE IS CLOSED

Discovered it on my way back from a tour of the Langa, and what a pleasant discovery! Excellent environment, staff and food, really. The suckling pig with hazelnuts is delicious, as are the other dishes. Right portions, not small or exaggerated. Impressive wine list and great support in their choice. Absolutely honest prices. A place to definitely return to.

Excellent restaurant both for the excellent quality and the courtesy of the manager. All the dishes are amazing but for me the stewed snails are worthy of note. Honest quality/price ratio given the high level of all the courses. We will definitely be back.

Ottima accoglienza, personale gentile e simpatico. Servizio preciso ed efficiente. Abbiamo assaporato i piatti tipici della zona (chiocciole in particolare) accompagnati da un buon calice di vino. Grande attenzione e affetto per gli animali da affezione, il nostro amico a quattro zampe è stato ben accolto e coccolato. Consigliato sotto ogni aspetto.

17/05/2025: An authentic and unforgettable Piedmontese experience! If you are looking for a typical Piedmontese restaurant where you can feel at home, this is the right place. The atmosphere is warm and convivial, also thanks to the owner, friendly and always ready with a joke, which helps make the experience even more enjoyable. The cuisine is homely and faithful to tradition: from homemade tajarin to rice with cheese and egg yolk, through a textbook veal with tuna sauce, a perfect tartare and a selection of mouth-watering local cheeses, including an excellent gorgonzola al cucchiaio. A detail that makes this place unique: magnum bottles of excellent local wines are regularly rotated on the tables, which change often and are shared generously. The friendly and competent staff is always ready to recommend dishes and pairings, making you feel like a guest rather than a customer. In short, more than a dinner, an experience to remember and repeat. Highly recommended! It will be a regular stop every time I return to the Alba area!
