The food was average for Florentine fare, but my eggplant tart was completely undercooked, and the liver bruschetta was tasty but the bread was soggy. The prices were for the overpriced food and the house wine was mediocre. An experience not to be repeated.

We celebrated our 4th anniversary here and were very satisfied. The atmosphere is rustic yet romantic, like dining under the stars. The meat was fabulous, as was the attentive and playful service, which created a fun and authentic atmosphere. We loved this restaurant and will be back very soon.

We were very impressed with our dining experience at this restaurants. We travelled to Florence from another Tuscan town just to dine here and we are glad that we did. The dishes served by Chef Francesco were cooked to perfection and the service provided by Bobo impeccable. Will be back with friends to try more items on the menu.

Excellent restaurant in Oltrarno. We tried the macaroni with ragù and were amazed. We were greeted very kindly upon arrival and the service was attentive. We will definitely be back!

17/03/2026: There was a video on Bonapé TV warning about restaurants with menus translated into multiple languages, and this was exactly that. Scanning the QR code revealed a menu in 15 languages. I didn't feel like ordering pasta, so I ordered the Chianina beef salad that was mentioned in the reviews. It was a little salty? It looked good, but the taste was neither good nor bad.

15/03/2026: This place was recommended to us by a friend who's a foodie. Located in the heart of Florence, just steps from Piazza della Repubblica, the atmosphere is that of a typical old-fashioned trattoria. We were served by Giulio, friendly, professional, and quick-witted, who puts you at ease and makes you feel right at home. We went for dinner and had a classic Florentine steak, grilled and accompanied by baked potatoes. We also had an excellent bottle of red wine. What can I say, the steak was excellent. We had such a good time that the day after our dinner we decided to return for lunch, and they even confirmed what they had said the night before. We'll definitely be back.
