I'd call it a simple, unpretentious place. I felt like I was eating at a grandmother's house. Perhaps, given the type of place, I would have preferred slightly larger portions and a slightly lower price for the main courses. Among the dishes I tried, I recommend the caponata.

Este es un pequeño restaurante escondido con muy buena comida y en general una buena ubicación. Yo daría fácilmente 5 estrellas, pero el servicio no es bueno. El camarero más joven es gruñón, desatenta y lenta lo que simplemente me obliga a dirigir una estrella. En general, es un gran restaurante y lo recomiendo totalmente, pero prepárese para un servicio mediocre (que es bastante poco común para Italia).

A corner of Sicily in the center of Milan. A typical tavern with a section of the menu also dedicated to seasonal dishes. In the summer, an unmissable dish is pasta with figs. We always return with pleasure

It was simply fantastic, as always. The buffet starter is highly recommended, as are the house white wine and the various pasta dishes. Highly recommended.

Sempre buono il cibo in questa semplice trattoria siciliana. Non capisco le critiche di chi si aspetta chissà che cosa dal servizio... i siciliani non sono di molte parole, si sa. Ottimi i moscardini al sugo e il tortino di alici. Buona qualità generale del cibo, arredamento semplice ma dignitoso. Tornerò anche in futuro

11/08/2025: A typical 1950s-style tavern with a sparse atmosphere but good food. Friendly and helpful staff. Fast and attentive service, perfect for lunch breaks.
27/07/2025: Finalmente un buon ristorante di pesce a prezzi onesti! La cucina è di stampo siciliano; ho provato e apprezzato sia gli involtini di pesce spada che la caponatina. Ambiente semplice e ordinato, servizio gentile ma un po' lento.
