Amazingly authentic and delicious experience. Host Matti is amazing charismatic, fun, and speaks english well. He is incredibly proud of his restaurant and the food speaks to why. Mr. Matti is the type of italian that will make great recommendations and playfully judge when you go against his recommendations, but his attitude and authenticity makes this a must stop in Tuscolana

Osti Matti and the trattoria of the past, eating here means going back in time several years, when the quality of the food came first, when the dish was told to you by a person who knew what to offer you. Small place with just a few tables, it is advisable to book to savor the splendid cuisine it offers. As an appetizer it presents the classic cold cuts and cheeses but they are of a different quality, to start we had a first course of tagliatelle with sheep ragù, excellent, tasty meat, the top was reached by the ravioli filled with ciauscolo with parmesan cream and balsamic... a delight. Intrigued by the second courses, we took a pork shank with cherries and balsamic reduction, fabulous meat, soft and tasty. The sibillini pecorino melted in the oven, with honey and pears was a delight for the palate. We ended the splendid evening with two excellent desserts, a panna cotta with chocolate cream and the vernacciamisu, a splendid reinterpretation of tiramisu, with berries cooked in vernaccia. Splendid evening of real cuisine.

Only the typical Roman sparkling service surpasses the goodness of the food!! The "song" of the menu is a show for which you don't pay a ticket! Truly typical dishes and not from "places for tourists"!!! First time yesterday, we will definitely be back!!!!

Locale senza troppe pretese estetiche ma nel complesso i piatti sono buoni soprattutto i primi. Menzione d’onoro per il pecorino aromatizzato al tartufo. Apprezzabile il coinvolgimento del proprietario si vede che tiene al proprio operato. Tuttavia consiglio di sintetizzare la spiegazione o la risposta alle domande dei commensali sul menù perchè è sembrata davvero un po’ troppo prolissa.

Un'esperienza eccezionale. Sabatino con la sua cordialità e simpatia e la CHEFFA con i suoi magnifici piatti , rendono quest'osteria un posto unico. Consiglio vivamente a chiunque di andarci. Ps: i dolci creano dipendenza !!!
