I can recommend this restaurant. The menu was only in Italian, and the people around us were mostly Italian, which means it's not a typical tourist spot. The prices were quite average for an Italian restaurant in Rome. The waiter/owner was very nice, funny and chatty :)

Excellent discovery by chance, very friendly waiter who explains everything in detail, clean and comfortable environment, excellent typical Marche cuisine of excellent quality, I will definitely go back, I recommend it

The host was wonderful. He was kind and funny, it may as well been dinner and a show included. The food was also delicious. Best we’ve had in Rome. I’m someone who never reviews but this place deserves the time!

The host is amazing!!! The food was even better! We tried the lasagna and the tiramisu. It was all amazing!! He attended to us very kindly! This place is a must if you’re visiting!

Lo sfizio del lago

22/08/2025: Terrace with a beautiful view of the lake at sunset. Excellent food, with prices absolutely in line with the quality of the ingredients and the quantity served. The appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts were all delicious! The staff were very kind and polite. If I had to find a flaw: it would have been nice to have a small table to put a bottle of wine on; the table for two was a bit small with plates, bread, wine, and various other dishes. I will definitely be back to try other dishes, and I highly recommend it!
19/08/2025: A truly charming and intimate venue with a lake view (for some tables). The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. The food was excellent and top-notch; we ate really well! Pet friedly :) Service was a little slow; the tables were full, perhaps because of that. A small tip: for wine by the glass, it would be nice to pour the wine at the table with the bottle and not pour it directly into the glass ;) especially since it seems like a very refined place. Overall, excellent!

Sora Maria offers a complete and exciting experience, offering a refined selection of locally sourced ingredients in a selection of traditional recipes and a wide selection of wines that, while revisited, preserve and confirm the identity, personality, and vocation of the region. Finally, the excellent service is truly unusual in recent times. Recommended for those who love themselves!
