We had spaghetti with clams and, on the waiter's recommendation, a tuna steak. Pasta cooked well, clams tasty and plentiful. The tuna steak is out of this world, fresh and cooked to perfection, it melted in your mouth.

On holiday in Finale for three days with my sister, we wanted to eat grilled fish. They recommended "La Vecchia Stazione" Finale Ligure to us. And this evening we made a reservation and had dinner there. This place is famous for the quality and freshness of the fish. And so we had a grilled STRE-PI-TO-SA FISH!!!!!!! . Abundant. We took the house still white wine recommended to us by the owner who wanted us to taste it before taking it. We passed it with flying colors! The service was EXCELLENT. We waited for the right cooking time
for a barbecue. Mr. Paolo, the receptionist and customer receptionist, as well as the owner, made us feel at home straight away. Attentive to everything and, within the limits of his possibilities, also to my food intolerances. At the end of the meal they ordered the lemoncello...TOP!!!! Naturally I compliment the chef for the freshness and quality of the raw materials. And I thank him for waiting for us because we were twenty minutes late

Had lunch today, all really good: octopus with potatoes, spaghetti with clams and seafood, Ligurian tagliolini with anchovies and pine nuts, tiramisu. Top quality and courtesy. Fair prices. Compliments!

La prima sera abbiamo provato una frittura di calamari e gamberi a dir poco spettacolare. La migliore di Finale. E per concludere una crema catalana e un tiramisù entrambi degni conclusione di un’ottima cena. Durante la cena la nostra attenzione è stata catturata dagli spaghetti allo scoglio ordinati da un vicino di tavolo. Erano talmente invitanti che la sera dopo abbiamo replicato , aggiungendo cozze alla marinara e tagliolini alla ligure . Peccato ripartire perché ci sono ancora altri piatti da provare . Proprietario e chef gentilissimi e simpatici .

Finally an Italian restaurant worthy of the name, given that they are becoming more and more rare.
The quantities are more than reasonable and above all the pasta is excellent.
Clam pasta tastes like clam pasta and anchovy/pine nut pasta tastes like anchovy/pine nut pasta.
The desserts are also killer and homemade.
A big thank you to the boss and his cook for his investment in perpetuating traditional Italian dishes.

Locale piccolo ma carino. Non tutti i piatti sono stati apprezzati. Alcuni veramente buoni, altri molto meno. Buone porzioni. Qualità prezzo più che buona.
Abbiamo passato una bella serata tra amici, la differenza la fatta Paolo, il proprietario, numero uno!!!!!!

Hello, we discovered this address by chance...and it was so good and authentic that we returned twice and we also booked for a third time...
The dishes are mainly based on fresh fish, cooked fresh. So don't hesitate, it's a simple place but one that knows how to sublimate the food.
