Simple but very courteous and efficient environment and very good food

A very nice restaurant in Padua where you can eat especially cod in all its variations. Highly recommended.

A lovely, typically Venetian osteria, with a good selection of seafood and meat dishes. The fried cod is delicious, very delicate and dry. The homemade bigoli with duck are delicious. The desserts deserve special mention: all delicious, especially the Venetian focaccia with mascarpone cream. A good selection of grappas, all served with attentive, friendly, and never intrusive service. Highly recommended!

Orazio 1957 is always a great choice! The dishes on the daily menu are varied and made with quality ingredients, satisfying every guest's needs. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable, always available to accommodate your needs, within the limits of their capabilities, of course. I've also attended several themed evenings, and the fact that they offer a fixed menu for multiple people doesn't detract from the quality of the dishes. Plus, the themes are quite varied and even fun to try. In short, it's definitely a place I'd recommend to friends and family without fear of making a bad impression.

The quality-price ratio is rather poor. I didn't like any of the dishes, not a single one. The soft polenta is to be avoided. The quality and preparation of the dish are greatly overestimated compared to the price. It's a shame because I think some of the ingredients are good. The place is nice, but otherwise I was disappointed. A mediocre experience, I won't be back.

Must try, if I'm in the area again I'll definitely go back.

I've known Orazio all my life, since it's down the street. I've always gone there during the week at lunchtime, with the murari and ordering the daily menu: I've never had any complaints, on the contrary. I knew it was an à la carte restaurant in the evening, but I'd never tried it. Today, having friends over for lunch and it being my birthday, I took them there, and it was a lovely and pleasant surprise! The menu features cod in countless variations, and the tagliolini with clam sauce was truly first-rate. The appetizers and first course were almost made to order, with excellent presentation. The staff was attentive, fast, friendly, and courteous. The wine list was also excellent, with a wide selection of Venetian and Friulian wineries. The prices, obviously, are NOT murari-style, but they're normal for these dishes. For me, 👍 😃 💯

The à la carte menu is very interesting, but you'll only regret not having time to try everything. Chiara, who looked after us in the dining room, was fantastic... we'll be back soon!

The staff is very friendly and knows how to pamper the customer, the food is excellent and the pizzas are really good too.

I had dinner with my family at Orazio in Padua and everything was fantastic! The food was delicious, even the pizzas! The staff is wonderful! I recommend Orazio 1957 to everyone!
